"We were in town for a family gathering and this place fit the bill. There were 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and pet friendly. I highly recommend. I didn’t have any contact after checking in because everything was set for us. We will be back! This is an annual trip so hope to stay again next year! Thank you to a great host! "

"This home is exactly as pictured. Very clean and everything was new. The home has everything you need, kitchen is very well stocked with appliances and utensils. The screened in porch provides a nice relaxing space for your morning coffee. There were so many extra touches to make you feel welcome. The organic homemade sourdough bread was amazing! Communication with the host was terrific, he reached out the day of check-in. There was a brief power outage as Duke energy was working just outside...

It is very close to downtown Waxhaw, enabling us to walk to local restaurants and, of course, get ice-cream in the evening!The house was had everything that we needed during the week. "The house was clean, nicely decorated and CONVENIENT to where we needed to be (Winthrop University and the Oratory). We were only there to sleep and eat breakfast. It was very nice with no real problems. It was a quiet neighborhood (no dogs barking through the night as a few reviews stated). You could hear the early morning train (thus the house's name) but it was in the distance and I found it comforting not annoying. I don't think it would even wake an infant. Maybe next time we will have time...
