"The house and property are excellent. Getting up the main road and the driveway with a boat is tricky - narrow and lots of turns but once at the property it is great. The decor is up to date and relevant with the seasonal themes for the bedrooms. Great open concept for the living area. Just a couple very small areas to clean a little better but I am sure the owner will take care of them as he is on site and very connected to make this a top notch experience for guests. "We wanted a relaxing getaway for a long weekend and that's exactly what we got. The house is located right on the river and we spent our mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the view. It is within an hour to New River Gorge National Park and several state parks. There is plenty of space to explore near the house with the Elk River Trail right across the road. The house is clean and well-equipped and the owners are very communicative. We would definitely stay here again if we are going to...

"The property was tricky to get to. Apple Maps got us almost all the way there, then the owner’s VERY helpful information packet got us the rest of the way there! The owners thought of almost everything! I loved the laid back vibe that they had too, which just set the right tone for the weekend.
