"Went there as a family and booked two rooms overlooking the ocean (2nd floor). It was magical. Comfy beds, beautiful ocean and sunset views, great pool and direct beach access, and wonderful staff who were always on hand to help. Breakfast was brilliant - fruit platter, fresh juice, choice of eggs (recommend the Sri Lanka omelette) and pancakes. Absolutely loved our stay here - I could sit on the balcony and look at the ocean for a week. Note: We were there late October, so the hotel was quite inexpensive and there were only few guests. Note2: If you go to Mirissa, have dinner at Nautica. You won't regret it."

"We had one night in Galle, and were lucky enough to get the ENORMOUS family room - an amazing experience for the entire family. As it was off season (late October), the hotel was quiet and there was some renovation going on, but it was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend! One thing I have to mention: The bedframe extends beyond the mattress and since it's dark wood, it's impossible to see in the dark - two of us came home with some pretty bad shin scrapes :) "
