"Five friends stayed and we loved the location and easy access to Tanunda and Barossa generally. The house had much more to offer than what we had time to use. The standard was luxury with space to have separation. Clean, well stocked breakfast food. Shower water pressure was a bit variable and a couple of shower heads could be improved. Not a biggie!"

"Wonderful property. Quality decor, beds, fittings, kitchen . Spent a long weekend with friends. Beautiful big kitchen which was very well equipped so very social cooking. Large dining table leading into sitting room. Rooms was large, very comfortable with linked quality bathrooms. High shower heads, big baths. Good heating . Perfect setting for day trips to the vineyards and convivial meals in the evening. Very peaceful, cannot recommend this house highly enough. Best weekend rental I have...

"A massive thank you to Albert and his family for having us stay on their property this weekend. We were incredibly grateful for their extra efforts—fresh bread and homemade cakes to celebrate our anniversary were such a thoughtful touch. It was a joy to watch their daughter with her horses and to see the beautiful Highland cows. The tent was perfect upon arrival, and overall, we’d give Albert a 10/10 for his hospitality and care. " A lovely cottage with so much style and history. Looks great in photos but even better in real life. It was so nice to stay in a freshly restored cottage but definitely not a cookie cutter decor. I also loved the town. I enjoyed a hot chocolate at Karkoo and great meal at the Oakbank hotel all within walking distance. Definitely recommend"
