The kayaking trip was canceled last minute due to weather, but we took the disappointment in stride, because we had this beautiful hidden gem to come back to. "This multi-level house/cabin works well for family and friends to gather on the island. Lots of room inside and outside for potluck dinners and game nights. The basement 2br apartment was especially nice for our son's family with a toddler. The kitchen is well equipped and has excellent appliances. Claire was a great host and responded immediately to all questions. There is excellent storage and lots of refrigerator and freezer space for your island stay, "

"we had a really lovely time on Madeline Island. The house was just what we needed - modest, but with all the necessary amenities to cook a meal, relax and enjoy the water. The access across the road was easy and convenient. The kayaks were awesome! We had an early snag where the property had not been fully cleaned from the previous guests but Alan was on it immediately and offered compensation for the hassle which was much appreciated! Highly recommend!"

"Private beach was excellent. We had such a good time playing in the water. Housing was comfortable. Kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with what we needed. Problem was finding the place. The address cannot be seen from the road because covered in vegetation. Also the communication with owner and with Vrbo was frustrating and for the most part nonexistent. We had such a great time that the problems now seem insignificant. "

"We have a long history of spending Labor Day weekend on the Island and have stayed at many of the notable VRBO’s here . This is an outstanding property and my personal favorite . My husband and I spent a total of 8 wonderful nights here with our 3 adult children , their spouses , and 4 of my 5 grandchildren ages 2-9 .We utilized all of the sleeping spaces with the exception of the reading nook. "Telemark Northwood lodging condominiums are great, the only reason I gave a couple of fours is because there was only one fan for the AC in the whole unit and it did a pretty good job, but when bedroom doors were closed at night, it was a little bit of an issue And the bathroom didn’t bent out as quickly as they should. But the whole place was clean and a great location and makes for a great stay at either the mountain bike, hiking trails or the Nordic skiing. Oh thanks No"
