Our kids had a fabulous time in the pool and playing pool which were two musta for them based on our family's age range. Weather was perfect which was a bonus. "We stayed at this property so we could watch our daughter at an event at Liberty University. It was a quick drive there or to restaurants and shopping. The host was great! Our group consisted of adults, teens, and toddlers. We all enjoyed the house. The bunk room is fantastic for children. The hot tub was great on a chilly day. The host took care of our every need! "

"The Candy Apple is a beautiful, clean, spacious and well furnished home to rent for you r stay in Lynchburg. We were very impressed with the inside of the house. The beds were super comfy!! The parking is a bit tight. There is a very nice deck to use - unfortunately, carpenter bees galore. The cons were the wifi - we all had trouble - could not get wifi . Lastly, the yard was not useable; glad we did not have children. All in all this house served our purpose very nicely. !!"

"The location is great for downtown entertainment. The unit was clean, instructions for check in and out easy, the owner very responsive. It is dog friendly and the sliding back door faces a walking area that is very convenient for taking the dogs out on walks without having to go around the building. Nice view of the river and hills!"

"Pictures of Dog Trot do not do this gem justice. It truly is an experience staying in this historical cabin. So relaxing. We made a camp fire our last big there. Watched deer and turkeys from the front porch and patio. Gorgeous property. Suzy is a wonderful and accommodating host. We rented this again for a few days in October to take advantage of the fall foliage. Can't wait."
