"This house sits in the middle of a hayfield, set 500’ or so back from the road. Very quiet, and a secure place to let the dogs play. The house itself is spacious and comfortable, and well-equipped, including heat-pump a/c and an excellent washer/dryer in the basement. The Mabou area is always a treat: grocery, gas station and the Red Shoe Pub (very nice restaurant and music venue) all 5 minutes away. Mabou Mines sandy beach 10 minutes away. "Excellent place to stay near Guysbourgh. So quiet you can hear your own thoughts and no light pollution so you can see all the stars. Only small issue was people before us had a dog so we had a slight wet dog smell in the apartment but it was dealt with quickly."
