"Check in was easy and contactless. House is simple and easy but not well appointed. Could use a cutting board, enough plates (only has 4) for the amount of people it sleeps (6), and some more hooks for things like towels in the bathroom or a place to put your baggage. But overall the house was comfortable. "

"We spent a week here riding the trails at Windrock OHV. The home is good for larger families with big kitchens and rooms. There were 10 of us and it never felt crowded. Nothing fancy, but it meets the needs when your trail riding. As others have mentioned, it is difficult to drive up near the house without four-wheel-drive, but there is a place at the bottom to park"

"We travled here with some youth from our church. Place was spacious and clean. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Rooms were clean and it had nice large common areas which was very nice. Host responded quickly to my questions before booking and made the process quick and easy."

"House Mountain Retreat offered us the space to unwind, relax, and prepare for the next part of our trip. The indoor area is nicely decorated and the bed is very comfortable. The best part, however, is the screen porch and the views of the birds, animals, mountain, and sky. Wonderful!!"

"My family stopped In for the night on our way home to Ohio from Florida. The location was perfect, just being 10 min from the highway. The house is so charming! The house could use a spring cleaning and the patio furniture needs a good scrubbing but I would defiantly stay at the home again "

"This is a perfect location if you want to drive or Uber to downtown Knoxville for any event. House is clean and they are easy to work with, we were able to have an early check in which helped out a lot. Would rent this property again! "

"Very Good stay. Good location/short drive to anywhere we needed to go. Only have two recommendations for the listing I wished I had known before the trip. 1. Only TV is in the basement. 2. Beds described as 2 king and a double queen. It was actually 2 queens and double xl twins. Overall stay was great. 5 stars, great host!"

"Pros-the inside of the house was nice, boat dock was great to have, and the lake view was amazing. If there is an issue, the property manager was amazing! Cons-the wifi or even cell service is next to nothing, which also means there is limited tv/streaming. The deck attached to the house was real dirty. Couldn’t sit on the cushions-they were so dirty. There is also not an ice maker in the house-just ice trays."
