Adorable, fully renovated cottage offers 3BR, 2BA, a private plunge POOL, off street parking, AND it's DOG FRIENDLY! Fabulous in-town location is walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch and happy hour cocktails poolside. What more could you want in a Rehoboth Beach vacation? Super comfy and stylish, the home can accommodate up to six guests with 2 queen and 1 double bed... and of course there is room for you pup too, with a minimum $300 pet fee and addendum. Number of dogs & breed restrictions may apply. Have a cloudy day? Enjoy a guilty pleasure and binge-watch your favorite shows on the LR smart TV or take a short walk to the Rehoboth Beach Museum which is steps away, or visit the renowned Rehoboth Art League Galleries. BONUS: This luxury home comes with bed linen and towel concierge service, so all beds are MADE for you upon arrival. (Sorry, no beach towels.) Guests pay a $165 cleaning fee for each stay. Paper and personal hygiene products are not included. Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.
VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as owner on this site. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Another great stay!

This was our second stay at this property and it has been well maintained since 2 summers ago. Great location for food and shopping. Pleasant walk to beach.Love having a pool and the front porch is nice for people and dog watching. We plan to return next summer!

Great House - that allows pets, could be cleaner!

This house was in the perfect location, perfect size and allowed me to bring my fur baby. The issue was the cleanliness, the house looked like it was not truly cleaned in a long time the interior and exterior. We spent first several hours cleaning the house on our vacation. In these times you would think someone would wipe down all surfaces before next rental.

Good location and pool but needs deep clean

We were very excited to rent this property due to its location to the beach and the backyard pool. However the stay was overahadowed by the cleanliness of the house. We arrived on-time for check-in, but the cleaners were still there. They described the house as "a disaster" so we busied ourself for another hour. When we returned they were gone, but the house was still dirty. Garbage under the couch and the beds, huge dust bunnies, dirt we could feel under our feet on the floor, coffee still in the coffee pot and blankets that smelled like they'd never been washed. It unfortunately set the tone for the trip. We tried reaching out to the property manager on the first day of arrival but never received a response. On a positive note, we really enjoyed the pool and walking to the boardwalk, but we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the property.

Vaca with family and pets

the house was wonderful; location great and pool was fantastic! Enough space for the 5 of us and two dogs❤️. The rental agency went above and beyond by not only accepting delivery and pick-up of oxygen for my 92'yo father, but when we became a late arrival, Danny graciously delivered it to the rental!! Definitely returning next year!!

Cute house with pool and pet friendly too!

This house was great for our small family of three plus my friend with her dog. The cleaners missed some items left in the frig and the coffee maker wasn’t emptied or clean, but everything else was great on arrival. We loved the pool and location of the home on the quiet street, but still walking distance to everything in town. Beds were comfortable. I only wish the house had a desk, we brought a folding one from home because my husband had to do some work and the extra sitting area of the master bedroom was the perfect spot to set up. We loved everything else about the house, highly recommend!

Great place for a family of 5

We had a great time staying at this house. The house was clean, the furniture was comfortable and the big star of the property is the pool. The pool was a good size for my young family and was very well-maintained. Located one block away from Rehobeth Avenue, this house has a great location to walk to a lot of great restaurants and shops.

Great Stay

All was great, the only issues that could have made it perfect were an ice and water dispenser (they did leave a bag of ice for us which was nice). Also it was hot at night even with AC on so they put fans in the rooms. Very clean but dusty under beds and behind nightstands.

Great place to relax and enjoy Rehoboth Beach

Our family (six adults and one small dog) stayed at 48 Sussex in July 2019. The house was nicely decorated and the furnishings were comfortable, inside and out. The outdoor areas definitely added to our enjoyment of the property and we spent many hours swimming and lounging by the pool as well as sitting on the front porch reading and watching people go by. The house is conveniently located, just a short walk to the beach, boardwalk, restaurants and shopping, however it was very quiet and relaxing. We will be back!

Perfect home in an ideal location

We loved this house. It was just the right size for our family and close to everything. It's a short walk to the beach and to the downtown area. Having the pool available after a day at the beach was delightful. Rooms are nice sized and have everything we needed. It is a perfect place to stay and take advantage of the beauty of Rehoboth Beach.

Lovely home

Attractive 3 BR 2 BA house. Close to Rehoboth Ave to shop and dine. 3 blocks to Olive Street boardwalk and beach. Wooded 6 acre park nearby. Our 3 generation family enjoyed the house including porch and pool, as did our dogs (but not the pool).

perfect house for family vacation

I just came home from staying here with my husband, my parents, two teenagers, and a small dog. This house was perfect. There was ample space. The vaulted ceiling in the living room/ dining room made the house feel very spacious. The little pool in the back yard was perfect. The grill was super nice and we grilled out a few times. The location is amazing. We only ever used our car to go to the grocery store as the location is perfect to walk everywhere else. The only one thing they might add, as someone else mentioned, are some proper paring knives, although next year we could just bring our own. All in all it was great and we will definitely plan to stay again next year!

Neat, clean and comfortable

I have stayed in many rental properties and never felt so at home in any of them. So much thought has gone into the comfort of the guest in this rental and was very appreciated. I enjoyed the front porch the most, using it every morning and evening. I actually fell asleep laying out there on the one day of rain we had. The pool was very nice and we enjoyed using it in the evening after a day at the beach. Most importantly the beds were comfortable. Nothing ruins a trip for me more than an uncomfortable bed. I will happily recommend and plan to visit again.

Cute and modern property with a great backyard and pool!

We loved our stay! The house was updated and very clean. The backyard was well maintained and the pool was absolutely perfect! A very quick walk away from the shops and restaurants. Only negative was that the property didn’t provide trash bags or paper towels and only left one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Not a big deal, we went out and bought what we needed, but wish we were made aware of this ahead of time. We will be back!

Nicely remodeled home w all amenities.House is smallish, yet has all you need. Maybe a little pricey

We had 6 adults, a baby, and a dog stay in this 3 bedroom 2 bath home. Although one level, we all seemed to have our space. Kitchen is updated with newer appliances, granite countertops, and well supplied. Outside front porch is great, and fenced back yard was perfect for the dog. Overall appearance of house is very nice, updated and clean; close walking to town and shops. Beach is 3-4 blocks away. We drove and parked because of all our stuff. Nice quiet neighborhood. Driveway is grass and gravel. Single car width but long enough for 2 cars. Permits provided allow street parking. Living room has smart TV but could use little more seating. Improvements that could be made are better, sturdier towel racks in bathrooms and more of them. Bedrooms had good sized closets but not much drawer space. Mattresses were ok but could be better. We would stay again. But I'd check out more prices. After pet and other fees, it was almost $3000 for the week. I know Rehoboth is expensive, however.

Lovely house

We just returned from a week at this house. On the whole it was just great. We loved the front porch and spent a lot of time out there. You might consider installing a fan. The house itself suited our needs well. The kitchen, although small, was well appointed. The only thing that we really needed was sharp knives. The bathrooms were nice with adequate water pressure. The outside shower was fantastic as was the little yard. This house is in walking distance of fun restaurants and other town amenities. So glad we found it!

Lovely, comfortable property in great location

This was a lovely, very up to date home in which to spend a week. It was perfect for us - a couple with a quiet, senior dog. The decor was tasteful and "beachy" without being over the top or kitschy in any way. The location was perfect for us - we walk a lot and it's just a block from Starbucks/Dogfish Head Pub/Rehoboth Avenue. A great feature was the availability of Netflix for renters. Finally, this may sound like a small thing, but this is one of the first beach rentals I've ever had (and we've stayed a lot of places) where the dishes and silverware and glassware all matched. At many rentals, it's a jumble of castoffs from the owners' homes (or yard sales). It seemed thoughtful to have matching everything and suggested a desire to create a homey atmosphere for guests. We had a wonderful visit!
