"This was a unique experience for us -- staying on a cork farm. The setting was stunning - the views amazing and you will truly get an authentic Alentejo experience. Note that is it not close to Evora, so keep that in mind. That said, I don't know that we've ever met a kinder and more welcoming host. "Quiet, beautiful property inside and out. Attention to detail. Was much more than I expected and very happily surprised with the amenities and surroundings. Nice terrace and pool among the vineyards. Hosts are very friendly and communication is easy! Would absolutely recommend. "

"The host Miguel was extremely kind, professional, helpful and responsive to our group of 6 adults. We stayed at this dream property for 13 nights and would have stayed longer because it had everything we wanted, and was located in a perfect spot for visiting historical sites, and for shopping for our meal items as well as for handcrafts. "We stayed just 2 nights but would happily stay much longer. Paul was an excellent host and gave us a tour of his cork forest and explained the process of harvesting cork. He also gave great recommendations for walks nearby. The pool is gorgeous and lovely to be woken by sheep grazing amongst the olive trees. Accommodations are traditional farmhouse - steeped in history. Kitchen had everything we needed. We will be back. "

"Nous avons passé un agréable moment dans cette maison. Elle est très bien équipée et bien climatisée ( grande chambre et salon ). Le patio est très agréable pour dîner le soir. C’est très calme. "Perfect. Large unit with great outdoor space. Our rental car broke down shortly before we were to check in, we were stranded about 9 km from the Vrbo. The host was gracious enough to come and retrieve us and get us settled into the unit. We reserved the home for 2 nights, we wished we had reserved it for a longer stay. If you are in the area, this place is great."
