"I had an excellent stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing oceanfront getaway. The location alone is worth it. The hotel sits right on the shoreline, and waking up to the sound of the waves each morning was absolute bliss. "I only stay at The Capes when I go to VA BEACH. It’s affordable, direct access to the beach, EXCELLENT staff and service, very kind and welcoming. They provide 5 star service although the hotel and rooms are a bit dated. They make you feel important and valued, that goes a long way with me."

"This is an old hotel. It requires an update. Staff are always very kind. Even though its a low rate, they charge extra for room service, which i never use. With housekeeping fee it is still very low priced. The balcony is very dirty, but besides that its a great place to stay."
