"Pro: good location. Unfortunately the beach in front of the hotel was completely closed for some upcoming event. I wish we had known that. Housekeeping every day Free parking Wifi worked well Decent price Double jet tub was nice Con: the A/C sounds like a freight train and when the wind was blowing, it sounded like a freight train with the hounds of Baskerville onboard. Front office reeked of cigarette smoke."

"Everything about this hotel was what we were looking for! Clean rooms, pleasant staff and a continental breakfast that had an array of choices. A great place to stay while visiting family!"

"Great little bed and breakfast. Loved the room and how clean everything was. Also great that the cottage was super close to the beach and provided beach towels for guests. Cottage also provided breakfast and parking. Would love to stay again!"

"Overall excellent experience as usual! However, the only issue was the room next to mine was really loud and I had my kids with me so it made it challenging trying to get them to go to sleep at a decent time. I reserved a suite and did not expect to have that issue. Other than that the stay was great. I will be back, but I will ask to have a quieter person stay next to me."

"My bathroom door fell off the track onto the floor. They gave me a second room that was already occupied. The 3rd room was a handicap room with two full size beds. Lastly when I booked the room it stated it had an oceanfront view, only thing I saw was the highway."

"Clean room very friendly staff. Loved that it was right on the beach. The restaurant, Mahi's, was delicious. It is in a great location on the boardwalk. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Only downside was $15 a day to park. Will definitely stay there anytime we come back to Virginia Beach"

"Location is perfect. The building desperately needs new furniture and updates. However, the the room was clean. The balcony had lots of trash on it and the grassy area between the building and the ocean had a ton of trash that should be picked up. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were there four nights, but nobody came to clean the room one time or take out trash. . We had to constantly ask for new towels and toilet paper and sheets."

"Great location. Property is old and shows it in worn rooms. Patched ceilings and damaged doors and toilet in the bathroom. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable."

"The room was clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly beautiful view of the beach from our room. The breakfast bar was not what I expecting, but exceeded my expectations and the location was great able to walk to just about anywhere to get what we needed."
