Gated Estate-Master Bedroom w/Full Bath with Private Spa

Enjoy your private room, on a gated estate, with French doors that open up to the outdoor pool, with lush garden surroundings and a gorgeous fountain view, out your window, on the front lawn. There's a NEW 2 person private spa!, on the back deck of the Ranch House, for your use, while you are staying with us. There is also a lovely gas fire pit, just steps from your room, just above the pool area. Room has a Tommy Bahama king size sleigh bed, with very comfortable mattress, with luxurious bedding and Tommy Bahama armoire that houses a large Smart TV. Room also has a mini-refrigerator-freezer, toaster oven, microwave and Keurig with complimentary Pete's coffee and creamer. There is a large outdoor Weber-Genesis BBQ, for grilling and two outdoor dining tables. There are several restaurants, just minutes from the estate, if you want to "go out" or pick up "take-out" to dine in. Let us know if you would like any recommendations! There is an outdoor shower but master bathroom also has a lovely oversized shower, as well. You also have a view of the beautiful barn with 2 sweet mules, 6 very friendly goats (various breeds) and of the front and back vineyards. This room is a private, romantic setting to relax around a gorgeous pool, to take a spa or enjoy a glass of wine at the gas fire pit . In addition, the 1 acre lake has various seating spots, where you can sip on a glass of wine or watch the gorgeous notorious Redwood Valley sunsets. This property is special and we are very excited to share it with you!

Great property with pool, hot tub and enchanting wind chimes. My wife loved feeding the animals very friendly. We took trips to Chandelier Tree, Fort Bragg, and surrounding areas. Will return in the future.

An Unforgettable Stay in Redwood Valley!My husband and I had an amazing three-night stay at Jerry and Melinda’s beautiful estate in Redwood Valley. We stayed in the master bedroom, which was incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—from dishware and utensils to cutting boards, coffee creamer, jam, and even a bottle of wine. This room is located right off of the pool patio with a beautiful view into the vineyard and of the animals. We loved exploring the grounds, visiting the animals, and grilling dinner while watching the sunset over the vineyard and lake. The location was perfect—close to vineyards, Ukiah, and the coast—so we were able to enjoy day trips and return each evening to a peaceful retreat.On our last night, we had the privilege of meeting Jerry. He was respectful of our privacy throughout the stay but made it clear he was available if we needed anything. He gave us a wonderful tour of the property, including the barrel room and his enchanting hobbit sanctuary. While our room was fantastic, we instantly wished we had booked the barrel room—its handcrafted details, are truly one-of-a-kind and even more stunning in person than in the photos. We highly recommend Jerry and Melinda’s property to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and conveniently located getaway. It was a truly special experience, and we can’t wait to return!

Get away

The room was perfect for us. It was nicely decorated. The bed comfortable and Melinda had lots of extras like coffee pods tea, oil butter jelly and my favorite was the fresh eggs. We got to relax in the spa too. If it was warmer I might of gone swimming in the pool outside our room. I would definitely stay again.

Redwood Paradise

This was our second stay with Jerry and Melinda. Was just as good the second time around. Wonderful hosts you never see unless you need them, and then they are readily available. If you want a great getaway, this is the place. We plan on making it a regular yearly visit as we love the area.

Our room had the perfect amenities for our short stay. Extremely clean and cozy, a beautiful room! The property is a gem, beautiful grounds to walk around. Visiting the goats and mules was a bonus delight. Highly recommend staying here.

Relaxing, Restful, Magical :)

Where to begin! Melinda and Jerry were so accommodating. I had to change our reservation from June to September because I had broken my foot. Melinda replied to my message with well wishes and let me know it would not be an issue at all. From the moment we arrived until we left it was such a wonderful stay. They gave great directions to find their place. We arrived to a beautiful room with crisp clean sheets, the fluffiest comforter, great little set up of the fridge, Keurig, microwave, and toaster oven, lovely bathroom, and grapevines right outside our window. Melinda left a sweet note with a bottle of local Organic Merlot. All the outdoor spaces were just as described. To be honest I would say better. I ran into Melinda getting some things from our car the first night. Asked her for a dinner recommendation. One of them was The Broiler, which is 5 minutes away. Oh my gosh…their food was so tasty! I mentioned how I loved animals so she offered to leave carrots out for me to feed the Mules and Goats. I loved feeding them possibly more than they loved getting them, haha. The day we left my husband and I had such a nice chat with Melinda. She asked if we liked salsa since she had just made some and offered to send a jar home with us. When she brought it to us, she had also added jars of dill & sweet pickles and zucchini squash relish. We are already looking at our calendar to see when can go back. Thank you so much Melinda and Jerry for sharing your slice of heaven!

Incredible stay!

The property was exactly as described, offering fantastic amenities including a pool and hot tub. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Hosts Melinda and Jerry were incredibly polite and even welcomed us with a bottle of wine. The accuracy of the listing and the hospitality provided made our stay truly enjoyable. We definitely plan on visiting again. Thank you for everything!!

Breathtaking views around every corner this lovely farm & vineyard. Wonderful and welcoming hosts.

Wonderful stay very relaxing beautiful property with lush flowers and trees. Lovely private lake with boat and kayaks to use. Each had room/ house had a individual Jacuzzi spa with their own private deck. Relaxed at the quaint shared pool that was off the suite we stayed in and slept with the doors open all night. There were fresh eggs, cream, butter, everything to make a delicious breakfast. Exploring the property was enjoyable, stopping to pet the horses sweet goats and loving being among a lush vineyard. The rooms and property were all beautiful. The Barrel room where the barrel strips were the celling, retro upscale décor which was simply beautiful with a glass door garage door that opened up to feel the lake breezes. We loved every minute of our stay and will be back.

Three Day Stay

We were in the area for a music festival and enjoyed our stay. Lovely hosts and environment. The room by the pool was well equipped for our uses. It was a rather small, cramped space that left little extra room for much else but sleeping. They have other spaces that are larger and overlooking their private lake. We appreciate the safe, congenial atmosphere.

Cute hideaway

The space is as advertised. Cozy with a wonderful bed and amenities. Responsive and kind hosts. We spent a rainy few days and took an easy day trip out to the Mendocino coast. A little off the beaten track but close to Ukiah and Willits. Perfect for us who were looking for a quiet get away. Fire pit was a nice treat on a dry evening. Would like to visit again in warmer weather when we could enjoy the pool.

Paradise in Northern California

If you need to be in or around Mendocino County or Ukiah, CA or the Redwoods Valley then you will not do justice to soul if you do not stay at this phenomenal spot on earth. This place has the most amazing Energy. I had business to do in Ukiah two days and my clients wanted me to hang out and see Ukiah and Ukiah is a cute cute little town. I'd love to grow up there. But for a place to stay I prefer the Beauty of these 6 acres meticulously manicured with fountains and beautiful gates, a phenomenal barn, hot tubs, 2 acres lake, multiple VRBO's being built out. The three acre vineyard which greets you upon arrival. The Hot Northern CA sun slightly burning your skin during the day and the nights so cool you wrap up in very comfortable bedding and sleep like Sleeping Beauty. The Pool is beautiful and refreshing, The Koi pond, the streams, the vegetable garden just knock your socks off. And I have saved the best for last. The owners, Jerry and Melinda couldn't be more gracious. If you want privacy they leave you alone. If you need help they are there to provide it. But if you want company on your journey you will make two new friends in this fabulous couple. Their calling in life is quality and hospitality. I pray they never close this place and the excitement of them expanding in a bit is fantastic. Not every guest may find themselves wandering toward the lake and stumble upon the Hobbit. The hobbit is the center of energy and inspiration for this fantasy land. An odd enough shaped building to look like it is from a Disney Cartoon, complete with a wooden door made from 1000 year local wood Late in the afternoon you will find Jerry sitting in there with a contemplative look. Friendly and gracious he will want to get to know you. If time permits Melinda may come down from the house to join. Personally, This was my favorite part of my stay. The long talks and sharing of life's ups and downs. Challenges and Triumphs. The room and shower were beautiful and the bed extremely comfortable. The shower is big. Plenty of coffee for the Keurig and creamer in the fridge. A microwave if you need it and plates and more. Close to some great local restaurants and bars. A market and a bank. . I don't know if I would go back for the weather and beauty or just to hang out with the owners. But thankfully, you can do both. Do not waste your money on a hotel in Ukiah. It is twice as much money and only a 10 minute drive. and would be like night and day.
