"Perfect spot for a quiet getaway. The property was beautifully designed and very well kept. It had great amnesties that allowed us to dine in and enjoy the wood burning stove. A short walk to the beach was also a bonus. We would definitely stay again"

"Wir sind zu fünf Erwachsen dort gewesen. Das Häuschen war super und hat alles gehabt was man braucht. Alles hat super funktioniert👍 Der Bruder der Vermieterin der nebenan wohnt war sehr nett. Supermarkt ist etwas entfernt, aber wenn man dieses Haus mietet, hat man ein Auto und dann ist es egal. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!"

"What a wonderfully renovated old cottage with amazing charm. On a secluded lot with lots of areas to explore. Colleen and Raymond are very hospitable. The cottage was exactly as advertised and a joy to stay at! Thank you!!"

Only a short drive to gorgeous beaches when you turn right heading to roundstone and left towards ballyconneely. The house was really comfortable and well equipped. We all slept well in the calm and quiet of the beautiful surroundings. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks a million"

"We had a quick 2 night stay- definitely could have stayed much longer! The apartment was cozy, spacious and perfect for us. Especially enjoyed the patio and water views. Fun pubs with live music in walking distance. Hiked Diamond upper and lower loop trail. We hope to come back some day!! Go to Griffins to see Jack O'Reilly!"

"Très jolie plage à proximité, et balades sur les rochers de granite. Pas reçu les informations pour l’arrivée mais très bon accueil sur place avec l’aide des voisins. Inconvénients : maison un peu humide et système de paiement de l’électricité avec des pièces de 2€ qui s’éteint rapidement en cours de journée. Bon point de départ pour balades ds le Connemara."

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dem gemütlichen und gut ausgestatteten Haus sehr genossen. Insgesamt ist das Haus jedem zu empfehlen, der Ruhe und einen guten Ausgangspunkt für den eher rauen Westen sucht, und längere Anfahrtswege an die Küste nicht scheut. Die Seelage und die Seeblicke sind jedoch einmalig."

"Cottage is lovely and easy to find the local village is walkable and has everything you would want with shops and great restaurants (reasonable prices too) the only small thing we would suggest they improve is the lighting in the kitchen which is really insufficient if you want to cook in the evening."

"We absolutely loved the location of this property!! It is isolated, surrounded by the ocean inlets. Be prepared for the narrow roads and the one lane dirt road that brings you out on the island. It is not modern, but we were not looking for modern. We had everything we needed for our 6 day stay and enjoyed it immensely."

"The property manager was so welcoming! Fresh flowers, local bread and a sweet treat awaited us. Even though we were delayed arriving at the appointed time, our hostess made sure the “hand over” was seemless and she answered all of our questions. She was accessible for questions during our stay and made several great suggestions of destinations in the area. I highly recommend the property. A+"

"The Walsh's home is a perfect haven. Everything was exactly as noted with beautiful details to all the remodeling done. The location is on a relatively quiet road that is about 2 miles from end to end and makes a perfect walk in the AM or PM. You may have a few sheep or others who demand a photo or two. Short distance to Cong and Ballinrobe, Oughterard, and Maam area are lovely to explore. Michael stays in contact as needed as well as gives you space to explore. I will return, hopefully!"

"Can't recommend enough. Beautiful location on Lough Corrib. We had a family reunion and the house had everything we needed for big dinners on the shores of the lough or in inclimate weather, eating indoors. Oughterard is very easy to get to from Galway on a new road that makes the journey quick. (about 30 mins) The town itself is lovely with nice food options for eating out. The interior of the house is very comfy. Especially the beds. The furniture is a bit dated but did not present any...
