Perfect for my visit to Reading. Five minutes walks form the station and close to shops and local sites. Delightful friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Clean. comfortable spacious room and pleasant lounge area. Very good breakfast in bright, pleasant dinging room. The bedroom area was quiet and peaceful and I felt safe and secure in the hotel. Parking information inaccurate and got over charged due to the member of staff messing up our parking ticket.

The showers never got properly hot.
Not one of the staff ever asked whether things were okay. They were basically polite but nothing more.
The hotel probably can’t help it but in the evenings that area is very sketchy.

The check in was easy with pleasant team members.
The room unfortunately was not great, the bed sheets were clean at least but the bathroom had a constant smell of the drains coming through. There's 1 iron to cover the entire hotel which was so filthy it stained and ruined my shirt.
Won't be booking another ibis hotel after this.

The whole experience in Reading was ok but it would be nice if the parking arrangements were indicated in the hotel description. I spent a lot of time trying to locate the parking and eventually the hotel.

Miserable customer service, rooms okay but other guests noisey. Asked for twin rooms, but 2 x beds next to each other is not a twin! However, met the aim of somewhere safe and clean to stay, but will think twice if booking again.

Internet speed was too slow to watch even a 10 minute youtube clip. Couldnt watch smoothely. Stoped again again..It would be good to have an option to choose for speedy internet even if it should be paid more fir the faster internet connection.

As expected for and Ibis hotel. Not many frills
It's a decent hotel for a one night stay for business. In the right area of town for easy walks to and from the station and shopping, bars etc.
As expected the rooms are basic but functional, bed was comfy and TV a good size.

I stayed for 2 nights. After the first night I asked reception to get someone to look at air con in room as it was very stuffy and the thermostat did not seem to work. Not sure if it was looked at or not but no difference for the 2nd night.

Ok, not amazing
Ok - building and rooms a bit tired, and the water pressure was almost non existent, however bed comfortable and clean.

Great location
Handy location for the station and rail-air bus (only 5 minute walk), as well as shopping. Friendly reception staff, lovely clean room and shower and comfortable bed. Exactly what I wanted! Thank you.
