"The lords seat was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and clean. Great location with amazing views. Nice to have the extras like the dvds and games. The only disappointing thing was the water going off (ironic in the lake district) but obviously not your fault. The only thing that would have helped is instructions on a couple of things. "Great location in Braithwaite and well appointed cottage with nice, shiny bath (welcome after a day on the fells) and lots of useful equipment for home cooking - would have been great to have had a few more baking trays to put multiple roasting items in the oven but the air fryer worked really well, so maybe not needed for most people. Nice and well-cleaned with plenty of boot and waterproofs drying space in the utility room, loads of coat hanging hooks too - really useful and surprisingly...

"The house is kept beautifully clean. Views from it are mind blowingly fabulous. Needs more hanging space in the bathroom and unfortunately there was a smashed window covered in cardboard in the front hall that I was not informed about. Other than that, just a beautiful home from home and an incredible team at Keswick Cottages!! If you’re thinking about booking with them…just book…right now!!"

"The house was very comfortable and had everything you would require beds were comfortable and showers were great. It was a short distance to Keswick if you like to walk. The pub over the road was a bonus a 5 minute walk. Parking at the property was also great as you didn’t need to take the car anywhere as long as you are fit enough to walk. We have in fact booked again for next year."

Easy drives for the central and northern fells, as well as cumbria's west coast. Designated parking spot, which is a real bonus in such a busy town. Kitchen well equipped. Bed very comfortable.
