  • Enjoy a peaceful stay at this 2-bedroom renovated 1930’s limestone bungalow in Rapid City. My Blue Haven has been decorated with vintage and antique pieces to make the most of the original charm while providing all the amenities and modern conveniences of home. Its central location makes it fast and easy to get on interstate 90 or Rushmore Rd. It is a 5 minute walk to the Monument where you can enjoy concerts, rodeos, hockey matches, and more. Downtown shopping and dining is only a 15 minute walk through Memorial Park and M Hill with its extensive biking and hiking trails is less than a mile away. This bungalow beauty offers plenty of room with 2 bedrooms: 1 King, 1 Queen with a twin daybed and pop up trundle on the main level. The attic provides a separate sitting area and work space as a quiet office or game room in a charming second floor oasis, just perfect for friends and family. There are 2 work spaces located in the family room on the main level and the attic. With high-speed internet, individual temp controlled heating/cooling units throughout, WiFi, washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, and lots of indoor/outdoor seating, Blue Haven has all you need to make yourself comfortable in this home away from home. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Rapid City and our home has to offer.

My family of four found My Blue Haven cozy. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms were fully equipped and the place is centrally located in the city. Carmen made sure we were taken care of during our week stay and we will return in the future!

Fabulous stay!!

Wonderful, clean home in very quiet neighborhood. Home is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated in vintage period pieces. We loved our stay and hope to come back.

Perfect location, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

It was easy to find, very well stocked, owners were easy to talk to. I highly recommend this property.Rapid City is small, but has an airport that several carriers fly into.

Perfect

We picked this place being so close to the Monument. Weather was good and we enjoyed sitting in the back patio. Everything you could ask for in a VRBO and more. Family loved the place.

The place is just as described. Excellent location. Very comfy beds. Perfectly clean. We didn’t need much help, but when we did, Carmen was very prompt in helping us.

Really enjoyed this property as it was centrally located to all the attractions that we wanted to visit. Our host went beyond expectations in taking care of us. Home was very quiet, clean and well stocked with all those small items that you may have forgot to bring.defi

Great place, close to downtown

Clean house, pretty quiet neighborhood, easy to get downtown. The house is a mix of old and new--very cute. It was a perfect basecamp for exploring Rapid City and Keystone and a great place to recharge.

Cozy home in Rapid City

This home was clean, comfortable, and close to everything. It should be noted that one of the bedrooms is upstairs which might provide a challenge to some people with mobility issues. Carmen is always quick with communication. We had a wonderful trip.

Clean and friendly! We couldn't have asked for a better place. The house came with an exceptionally well stocked kitchen, bathrooms had extra sundries if any where forgotten, games for the whole family and even a nice welcome basket. The house was spotless, wonderfully decorated with plenty of room to unwind after a long day. The host was very responsive when a question needed to be asked.\We were able to walk to the Monument for our concert. The house is located in what we felt was a safe neighborhood and never felt safe with our belonging and vehicles at night. We would defiantly stay here again if the occasion arises!

Our house was excellent! It was extremely clean and Carmen had it stock with everything we needed and more. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room. She has the house very well decorated and the furniture was perfect for that house. Having a living room and a family room was perfect as it gave all of space! Spent a lot of time on the patio where there was plenty of seating for all. It was the perfect house and will stay there again when we go back. The owner responded quickly to any questions I had. Appreciated the great communication. The extra touch of have sweet treats from The Sour were much appreciated and enjoyed. I thank Carmen for a terrific week!!
