"We stayed for 2 nights in the private apartment. Very comfortable and spacious. Thatched roof was unique. Property was very clean and welcoming. Staff was wonderful, we had a late check-in due to flights and they were waiting for us (I'm sure an inconvenience but they never made us feel as such) Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Location was convenient and tucked away from the noise and traffic. Would recommend."

"My wife and I spent 9 nights at the guest house in the honeymoon suite and would highly recommend it. The room was very comfortable and private. The staff were excellent and very attentive. We were treated very well by Venoth on our arrival, which was late afternoon on a public holiday. As it was our 50th wedding anniversary he surprised us with a bottle of bubbly. Such a nice surprise! Should we need to return to Alberton again from Australia, we will definitely stay there again. Great...

"Beautiful, quiet, great location. Staff were fabulous. Will definitely recommend it to family and friends and will stay there again. Only gave 4 out of 5 rating for comfort as would have preferred a harder mattress. Otherwise, facility was awesome!!!"

"a very quaint and quiet place. Pool was cold but very clean and refreshing. The outside ambience was nice and relaxing. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to cook, although the burners take a long time to heat, it was sufficient enough for me to cook. Not hot enough to boil a pot of pasta water though. I am very pleased with everything overall."

From the time I checked in to my last day, he had a great smile, the staff had impeccable service. He even made sure I had hot breakfast before my early safari tour! "This is a nice South African hotel. Cold AC. The rooms were on the small side, but it was clean and nice overall. Breakfast was good and you could get a hamburger and fries for the equivalent of $4 usd. I really liked that the parking was walled in and secured. The location is about 15 mins from the airport and less than 30 mins to nearly any place in Joburg. The only downside is the neighborhood. Not a place you should walk...especially at night. But once you're inside, you feel safe."

"Well run facility. We stayed as a 2+2 family in the room with a double bedroom and bunk-bed in the lounge-kitchen-diner area. It was good to have this extra space and flexibility. Games room was a hit with the kids. Local restaurants/cafes are fine. Eastgate Mall is 1 mile away and safely walkable in daytime. Manager offers transfers in his car. Definitely recommend. (We went to SCI-BONO on one day which is the best science museum we've ever been to and great value.)"
