"As we wanted to visit New River Gorge National Park, this house was centrally located & very close to Sandstone Visitor Center. Plan ahead for food & supplies, as it is remote and not much around. My husband wants to return! It's a beautiful area & loved seeing the river. We got used to daily visits from the train."

"Nice place. Coffee and samores supplies a nice touch. Tacos and Sandwich Society across street. Downtown Fayetteville an easy walk. Nice fire pit, plenty of games and books. Wendy replied to any questions within minutes. "

"A very cool old house in the center of Fayetteville, and within walking distance of every restaurant and the downtown shops we visited.The home is very tastefully decorated, and so welcoming. A great vintage kitchen, big dining and living rooms, 3 beds and 3 baths. We enjoyed the front porch in the early morning and early evenings. I highly recommend."

"Great spot on River. Nice hole in front of house for swimming and fishing. Caught several small mouth bass. Very private, really enjoyed seating on porch and around fire pit listening to river. Seen bald eagle on our last morning. Would for sure go there again. Host was great, communication was great and had no problems during our stay. "
