"Island Guesthouse is perfect for your accomodation right in the center of Il Gzira, and very near the harbour-boulevard (The Strand) The service is excellent and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was large, had air-condition, micro-oven, electric kettle and an unlimited supply of coffee and tea. Housekeeping every day. All in all a very pleasant stay and very, very good value for money. I would definitely recommend Island Guesthouse any day. "

"The property was easily accessible but parking spaces was limited but available near or walking distance.Staff was friendly,helpful as the heater was not working at first but was quickly fixed.The room was good with facilities like hob,kitchen utensils,fridge, kettle(but little bit rusted),etc but tv was not working.Bathroom was in good condition but shower water was little bit low and no shower gel& tissues.Overall it was a good night stay and would recommend to anyone who want to stay there."

"This hotel is quite old, frequented by the local population and has character. It is in a great location to explore the Mdina and Rabat. The windows of the dining room look out onto a beautiful vista in the valley below.Unfortunately, our room did not have a view or much natural light coming through the shuttered window. "We had a good stay with excellent service. The property has beautiful decor. However, I would suggest adding grip tape and perhaps a motion-activated light on the marble terrace step for safety. Unfortunately, I slipped on it and almost severely injured myself—I hit the side of my back on the edge of the step. It could have been much worse had I landed on my spine or hit my head."

"I needed accomodation near the airport for an early flight. There is just a 20 minute walk from Joseluce Guesthouse to the Malta airport. There is no staff at the guesthouse, and you get door codes so you can get in. The room was nice and clean, recommended!"

"There are no elevators in this property, and the stairs are narrow and made of stone. Carrying a suitcase up to the second floor was a challenge, and carrying it down after my stay was a bit dangerous and no one to help. The property does make a point of stating that there is no elevator so i did know what to expect before booking a room. "Meget støj om aftenen og natten fra unge mennesker. Klagede i receptionen en aften kl. 23 hvor unge mennesker løb på gangende, skreg og smækkede med dørene. Receptionisten sagde at hotellet først bad om to fra kl. 00, så han ville ikke sige noget til dem før. Så det er en nødvendighed at man sover tungt, hvis man skal benytte dette hotel. Ellers god beliggenhed og “Beach Club access” på Aqualuna er helt uundværligt!"

"Hated the constant noise of sirens and traffic - much better soundproofing needed, annoying that the TV remote controlled both TVs when I only wanted one on with YouTube and not the other blaring BBC news or something- ended up unplugging the other tv to solve the issue Balcony is rather narrow and shower has no standing mat to stop you slipping The good news is that the double bed is lovely with usb ports and UK wall sockets which is excellent I like the TV size despite my whinge above...
