Pedro the manager shoeed us to our rooms, brought and made an extra bed after a mixup with the booking (not their fault), remembered us by name and ssked if we needed anything whenever we passed. He even gave us tips on festas and things to do around the island. Pedro and the owner were more involved around the property than any upper-level staff I've ever known, including pouring coffee and bringing our plates to the table during Sunday...

During our travel we went away from Terceira and did not have a hotel for our last night but decided without a doubt to stay at Caracol the last night as well after our first night at the hotel when we arrived. "Our stay was was lovely. The water in the bathroom tap was clean and drinkable, and tastes great. The breakfast provided in the morning was also a great touch. Not to mention the host was so sweet and kind, and offered information about the local festivities that were going on that weekend.
