"This property is what I would call quirky due to its age. There are steps down from the kitchenette into the lounge and steps from the lounge into the downstairs bathroom. I found the property to be clean and comfortable. Generally street parking worked ok but it’s a long walk to the seafront. "

"Why oh why did I not book this cottage for longer. This has been one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. Beautiful surrounds, just a perfect house, great inclusions, it deserves more than 5 stars. We will be back!"

"Amazing Cabin, which was super comfy and extremely clean. A little garden with 2 seats and table . A patio doors looking onto a very pretty garden. Right near to Swanage Beach which was perfect. Fully recommend. "

"The lodgings are in fact an appartement not whole house as advertised. Not is it 3 minutes from the beach unless you have a car. It has not been modernised but is spacious and inexpensive. "

"Fantastic cottage at the gateway to the Isle of Purbeck, just what we were looking for. The cottage and facilities were as described and even exceeded our high expectations. The check in via the key safe was simple and efficient and the standard of the kitchen equipment was very high indeed. Many comments in the guest book mentioned repeat visits and we can see why. The owners were very responsive to questions and nothing was too much trouble.The village pub has a good selection of beers,...

"The best definition of value I have ever heard is “the difference between you you thought you were getting and what you got” this sadly was a very wide gap. It is not a destination venue but more of some where to dump your belongings and go out. It wouldn’t take much. I was advised when I arrived that it’s gets chilly down stairs… no it is freezing cold. The radiator isn’t big enough and the electric heaters just do not warm up the place. Blackout curtains across the doors would help. The...

"Review of The Aspens I recently stayed at The Aspens and was very impressed. The property was clean, well-equipped, and presentable. Its excellent location near the beach made it perfect for a seaside getaway, and there was easy access to amenities like shops and restaurants. Additionally, the free parking was a great bonus! "The cottage was lovely in all respects. It was beautifully situated in a picturesque location, with a spacious back garden for relaxing and having breakfast. The situation was perfect for visiting local sights and amenities. Athelhampton House, Hardy's House and Cottage and Lawrence of Arabia's cottage at Clouds Hill amongst many. Our favourite seaside and beach was Swanage. "
