"This property was beautiful on the outside with a great pool scene. It is also conveniently located just steps away from Playa Mamita Beach and 5th Avenue. HOWEVER, internally, the room was quite run down and dirty. Many electrical outlets didn't work. The entire hotel's water was shut of during the middle of the night secondary to reportedly repeated water pump failures explained to me by the manager of the property. There was no blackout curtain to the large sliding door to the balcony. There...

"Third visit to Playa Palms. Perfect location. Nicest staff. Surroundings are well looked after. Nice view to the ocean. We would prefer a room on the “sunny” side and on second or third floor for a more private feel. But it was okay to try to stay on the ground floor with the people walking by the terrasse. We like the feeling of this place because it is a smaller hotel. More intimate. And really quiet even though it is 4 minutes away from 5th avenue and all the “chaos”. Highly recommend. "

"June 2026 very recent START WITH BROKEN TOILET SET, I SLIPPED OFF THEN REMOTES FOR AC NEEDED HELP THEN SHOWER, FLOODED THE ENTIRE ROOM , WORST NO WARM TO HOT WATER THEY AGREEED. AND WAS SUPPOSE TO FIX HOT WATER TANK ADVISED TO USE ANOTHER ROOM ALSO NO HOT WATER,' PAST UPSET MY ROOM THEY DID NOTHING AND AGAIN COLD SHOWER NOT EVEN WARM , FORGET HOT. "Mindre hotel med ok værelser. Ligger perfekt på stranden med egne strandstole og bar/ restaurant lige ved siden af. Ok basic morgenmad. Fint til at par overnatninger og tæt på indkøb og restauranter mv. Kort til busstation og færgen til Cozumel. "

"Check in was very informative. They gave us all the info we needed. Since check in was at a different location they provided us with a ride on a golf cart. The place was amazing. They had 2 pools but one was under renovations. The elevator was out of service the whole time we were there and we never saw anyone ever work on it. Security was always at their post so very safe.
