"As this is a self check-in it would be most helpful to have a three-ring binder listed with items such as “how to” use the peat stove, turn on the hot water, turn on the heat, identify the wifi code. There is a binder filled with bar and restaurant info but what I recommend is different. I did email the host about the wifi code and he let me know it is posted near the TV. "We enjoyed our stay and how original this home was. The hot tub and creek out back was so relaxing after a day of traveling. We didn’t cook while there so I can’t remark on cooking supplies and etc. I think some shelving in the large wardrobes in bedrooms would help a lot. Easy driving distance to Bandon, Cork, Kinsale, Cobh and Blarney Castle. Very quiet countryside location and easy parking. "Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. "Mariza and Barry have set up a comfortable home away from home for their guests. We were greeted with fresh flowers, yummy homemade bakes and general comfort. This Cottage is well appointed while still being appropriate for children to stay. Mariza was easy to communicate with and even brought her dogs by to meet us on our last morning. We visited Blarney Castle which was fabulous! Explored Cork a bit and visited Bunratty Castle. I highly recommend both castles as all day experiences. Thank you...
