"We had an amazing stay at Samaria Hotel. The room was wonderful (we got an upgrade to a penthouse room) and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the location excellent. We cannot recommend this hotel enough!"

"We stayed just night at the hotel and must say this hotel is amazing, only one big but…but before that I must say that the staff is out of this world! So incredibly friendly!!! The breakfast - probably the best hotel breakfast ever. The gym, the room decor, the location - all was amazing. BUT we did not sleep:( . The aircon is very very noisy! You could not close an eye when it was on, but it was too hot when it was turned off. However we turned it off eventually, but then we could hear every...
"Helt igennem dejligt hotel. Vi boede der een nat inden hjemrejsen. God central beliggenhed og nem vej til Chania lufthavn. Gratis p-kælder, men vanskelig opkørsel derfra. Godt hotel til prisen."
"Hotellet ligger i meget rolige omgivelser, i byens udkant nær havet, marken og fortet. Her er lækkert overalt. Rent og flot vedligeholdt. Kunst og drivtømmer-installationer gør stedet til en oplevelse. Og kunstneren kan ses i arbejde.
Personalet er yderst hjælpsomme og forstående. Morgenmaden er i top, med et twist af græske produkter, men samtidig ret nordeuropæisk. Aris ligger ikke langt fra restauranter, butikker, strande og havne. Samtidig et godt udgangspunkt for køre/vandreture i området....

"Vi var meget overraskede over, hvor fint et hotel Libyan Princess var i forhold til prisen. Skønt stort værelse med alt hvad vi havde brug for. Vi sov fantastisk i sengene. Personalet var yderst venlige. Morgenmaden var god og der var en del at vælge imellem. De holdt det meget rent. Det var dog lidt skummelt at gå hjem til hotellet om aftenen inde fra byen, da det var en noget uoplyst rute og det lå lidt afsides i forhold til de øvrige hoteller. Men dejligt roligt område og lækkert pool-miljø...
"Very clean and accessible in the heart of Old Chania . Plenty of places to eat , shopping and a 20 minute walk to the local beach . The host was always available via WhatsApp and helpful . Highly recommended. "
"The hotel was located right by the beautiful beach and the staff was very helpful and nice. Some nice restaurants close by but the area is not that inspiring. You have the mini-markets close by and the city of Kissamos is within walking distance - about 25 minutes.

"Perfectly located very close to sand beach and Chania old town and Venezian harbour in a non-touristic arena combined with the beautiful and classic mansion gives the guest a nostalgic feeling of being a visitor many years ago. The pool is very small, but does the job if you want to relax without going to the beach. Pillows are hidden in the closet - and should be used if you want a proper sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful.

"Location is great for exploring the city.
The hotel is fine for a one or two stay over. Pool area is very small and was overcrowded, Roomfloors were very noisy, but i belive we were unlucky with a full floor with families of loud children, and our room was next to the staff cleaning room.
The breakfast had a good selection and freshly squeezed orange juice"
"The facilities are very nice, and it’s a beautiful hotel. But the service was definitely not 5 stars.
It’s hard to get food and water outside of the buffet opening hours. So for instance if you want to have a snack between 16 and 18:30 it’s only possible to get chips or nuts from the pool bar.
If you want water bottles before 10:00 you have to go to the reception.
If we wanted to eat by the pool it was only possible to go to snack bar between 13 and 16 and bring it yourself.
By the kids waterpark area the only food choice is pork gyros which with no vegetarian options. We also noticed that food was not clearly labeled for dietary restrictions and allergies.
We personally did not get guide of the hotel until we personally asked for one after 2 days, which created some embarrassing moments for us at the a la carte restaurant. Through the whole trip I felt I had to ask what services and facilities they had, no one told you about the hotel to make the stay easier.
In general we just did not get the feeling of being at a 5 star hotel all inclusive hotel. We choose the travel form because it’s easy with kids, and I don’t feel they provided that.
I’d probably get the same experience at a 3 or 4 star hotel for a lot cheaper.

"Lækkert hotel med den bedste service. Lækker morgenmad og meget opmærksomt personale.
Restauranten er meget dyr, så vi spiste ude i byen.
Lækre solsenge hvor håndklæder ligger klar til dig. Værelse med lille pool var super hyggeligt. Der blev gjort klar til natten og futter sat frem. Det var klasse.
Vi oplevede ikke om der var underholdning om aftenen men der blev tændt så mange levende lys ved poolen og trappen og baren. Det var så hyggeligt.
Man kan gå til chania old town på ca 45 min. "

Spiste på asian restaurant 1 aften og det var virkelig godt. Man skal i bus eller taxi til platanias da der er lidt langt. Taxi 18 euro. "
