Villa San Giacomo is one of the most beautiful and largest villas on the Amalfi Coast.
It was built in 1741 by rich merchants, and after over two years of careful conservative restoration it was brought back to its full splendor.
Its name is dedicated to the patron saint of Liparlati, one of the seven neighborhoods of Positano.
The villa features 750 m2 of interior living space and 760 m2 of garden and loggia.
It boasts three terraces, one on each floor, all facing the sea, eight main double bedrooms with private bathrooms for a total of 16 sleeps. In addition, there are four attic modern double rooms with private bathrooms, which offer the possibility of hosting 8 more guests (at extra price) for a total capacity up to 24 guests. If unused, the attic rooms will remain closed and will not be rented to other guests during your stay.

On the ground floor, we find the kitchen and bar located in the innermost section, and a dining room composed of two adjoining chambers with pavilion vaults, as well as a spacious living room made up of two vaulted rooms richly decorated with frescoes. Both the dining and living areas open through four French doors onto the arcaded loggia, framed on three sides and shaded by a retractable pergola supported by a colonnade. During the warmer months, this refined outdoor setting serves as both a dining and lounge area.

From the loggia, a lateral passage leads to the courtyard, where the infinity pool and sun terrace create an exclusive ambiance for relaxation while enjoying the breathtaking views over Positano.

All the bedrooms have sea-view and terrace with outdoor furniture and they are provided with king-size bed, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, heating system, minibar, private bathroom, hairdryer, sofa, armchair, safe, courtesy kit.

The first floor consists of a sleeping area with four bedrooms - RAVELLO, CAPRI, POSITANO and PRAIANO - each with a private bathroom, all of the bedrooms have access onto a panoramic terrace. Three of these rooms (Capri, Positano, and Praiano) also feature a sofa bed suitable for accommodating a child if needed.

At the lower level there is another sleeping area with four en-suite bedrooms: NAPOLI, POMPEI, SORRENTO and AMALFI, all with sea views from a shaded terrace with a wooden pergola covered in lush vegetation.

On the second floor, corresponding to the attic level, are found two self-contained apartments – LI PARLATI and SPONDA.
Each apartment consists of two interconnected bedrooms with private bathrooms, offering an intimate and comfortable retreat.

Finally, the villa has a library dedicated to local culture, cuisine, nature and history at guest’s disposal, and also parking is available with direct lift to the Villa.



Rental rules:
Check in: On Saturdays from 16:00
Check out: On Saturdays within 10:00 am.
Welcome dinner, daily continental breakfast, daily chef/maid/concierge service (8 hrs. a day), included in the price. Porter service available from 4pm until 8:30pm and from 7am till 10am (1 luggage only per person). On Sunday or outside the indicated time €10/15 per suitcase.
Utilities (electricity, water, heating, gas) air conditioning, final cleaning included.
Damage refundable deposit: € 10.000, to be paid prior to check in, the entire amount will be returned at the end of the stay less any charges in case of damage to the property.
Guests can give their credit card details as guarantee for the damage refundable deposit.
Food and beverage deposit: € 3.000.
Use of telephone/fax upon consumption.
Parking not included (30 € a day for a car, 50 € a day for vans or bigger cars).
City tax: from 1st April to 31st October € 2,50 per person (from 10 years onwards) per day.
Events not allowed.
The villa can also offer four attic modern double rooms with private bathrooms, with the possibility of accommodating 8 more guests (at extra price) for a total capacity up to 24 guests. If unused, the attic rooms will remain closed and will not be rented to other guests during your stay.
