"This is a lovely cottage in the heart of a residential area. Close to Santana Row. Clean, neat, and a well stocked kitchen. Pet friendly and quiet. The hosts are kind and communication is quick and easy. The shower was a bit of a challenge and some comedic relief to the event (I turned the wrong knob and gave the entire room a shower). "Only window to open is bathroom as permanent fan system occupies main window, so very little fresh air. Kitchenette is not actually stocked to make coffee or tea, despite machines. No fan in the bathroom. Obvious moisture and or smell issue, many fans and baking soda absorbtion things around. Tv is only google tv, so was very limited. "Our stay at this home was terrible. The listing claims it’s a 2-bedroom, but one of the rooms is just a converted garage, making the layout dark and uncomfortable.The biggest issue was the ant infestation in the kitchen. Ants were all over the floors, walls and an outlet near the counter. We left our takeout on the counter while settling in, only to find it covered in ants when we went to eat. We had to throw away our entire meal. The owner showed no remorse and offered no reimbursement.The...
