In the evening, sitting on the deck, we watched the water turn pink with the sunset. The next night a bald eagle perched for twenty minutes on a piece of driftwood in the neighbors yard - 50 feet away. We cooked nice meals, learned to play pool, walked two minutes to the local deli, walked two minutes the other directions to Martin's point, walked a half mile to Beals Old Fashioned Ice Cream, a Noodle Bar, Thai Cuisine and the back bay. Super relaxing - we could have just stayed home all day but we didn't. Turn North off Oregon Street and travel through Falmouth, Yarmouth , Freeport, Brunswick - hug the coast for a wonderful drive up HW 88, then S Freeport Road - stop, cut in to to every port, explore. Find Town Landing Market - pick up lunch, take it to Broad Cove Reserve and eat on the beach, take a hike at Wolfe's Neck Oceanfront Camping - end up in Brunswick. I could go on and on, It's the perfect location for all this ... and on the water!
