This one bedroom, fully equipped apartment is nestle in a nature preserve on Saint Joe Beach. Private entrance, outdoor shower, high end materials, full kitchen, smart TV In main living area and in bedroom. Easy access (walk or bike) to the on-site pool, white sand beach, miles of waterfront boardwalks & bike paths, Pet-friendly, Saint Joseph beach (marshmellow-roasting-friendly - fires allowed!), 5 -star restaurants, bars, spa, and more resort-style living awaits you at this peaceful retreat. 7 minute drive to downtown, historic Port Saint Joe with more great eats. Wifi available in the unit, & at the pool &bar/cafe. pool bar. Hotel linens and supplies included. Bikes avail for small fee. pets are allowed for additional fee, $100 each. There is a shared wall with a separate rental on the other side - sound-proofing on each side, so it can feel private, but there are two separate units at this address, with separate private entrances. The Seaside Retreat has its own parking spot to the far left of the home.

The location and community are great but the unit didn't look like the photos, it needed a good cleaning and we could hear yelling through the walls and witnessed teenagers fighting in the driveway.

We loved the local vibe feel of this place. The community pool was amazing. Plus the little shops and restaurants a few blocks away. The bike paths are abundant for those who enjoy bike riding. Such beautiful views of Port St. Joe while you are biking.

It was convenient and not too far from where family was staying. It was clean. The e-mails were not very user friendly…text messages would have been easier to use. Had trouble with door lock when we first arrived but after a phone call the host came and took care of that.

The location was great and in a nice neighborhood. We loved all of the bicycling/golf cart paths. Not the owners fault, but as we pulled up the cleaners were leaving. However, they did not clean the living room floor. It was still sandy and after using a swiffer mop it was obviously not mopped. Other than that the inside of the apartment was fine.As others have said, the outdoor seating is not as shown. There is one very wobble chair with a table.What I really did not like, was a camera literally in your face right outside the entrance.We did get to rest and relax which is what we needed.

The apartment was absolutely perfect for myself and my daughters. We felt right at home. We loved being able to walk Windmark’s community trails and to the beach each night. Angela was am amazing host and easy to contact and communicate with during our stay with anything we needed. We will definitely be coming back!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Port. St Joe over the Memorial Day weekend. Lovely apartment, clean and quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Port St. Joe. Would love to go back again for a longer stay.

St Joe Windmark Home

Property was nice. Not enough toilet paper to get through the first night. That made me very unhappy, because of that I won’t recommend. The door knob with code quit working , so I felt vulnerable when I left the property, I locked myself out because I got in the habit of locking the bottom door knob, and forgot to unlock it the next morning on the last day and there was no way I could get back in until the owners got back from their vacation, later that evening. The toilet paper issue should be addressed, I am not the only one that had experienced that.

Perfect Apartment

Seaside Special

We loved the property and the location of our unit. It is well maintained, with everything you need. We felt comfortable taking our dog out and about. Not taking any stars away on the review but I have to mention the cell service is terrible around the entire property.

Great base from which to enjoy Cape San Blas and the bay

LOVED the Pizza place in Windmark Beach - best Veggie pizza EVER! Apartment was very well laid out and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 small dogs. Parking for 1 car only! Owner thought we could park on the street but had a cop ringing the doorbell on day 3 and were told to park in the “city center” where the businesses are.

Perfect getaway spot

We had a fabulous time at Windmark Beach. This little MIL suite was perfect for us and had everything we could ever need. Like a home away from home. Delightfully decorated and plenty of towels. Loved having a washer and dryer also! It is located close to the little shopping area and the pool. Would recommend renting a golf cart to get to beach or park at the pool and walk from there. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved it here!!

The house was perfect, location to everything was great! We loved our time here and would definitely recommend this place! Our only comment would be to have more than one roll of toilet paper available for a 7 day stay as we had to go buy some to get us through. Also, outdoor seating would have been nice, they did have one chair that was wobbly and a fold up camp chair was also available but a little outdoor table with chairs to enjoy morning coffee would have been nice. Still was a great place and we would definitely recommend it!!

Get away trip and home search

Early communication right after booking was odd. Didn’t hear anything at all until a couple days before arrival. Unit was nice, spacious and clean. Location was good with the beach and pool close. Another chair outside would be nice. Having only one was strange. We really enjoyed our stay. Angela was great and communication during stay was great!

Pluses and minuses

Location was a plus. Arriving on Super Bowl Sunday to learn there was no regular TV, was a minus. Having a bedroom closet was a plus. Having no coat hangers in the closet was a minus. Having a coffee maker was a plus until it leaked. Being given a used replacement was a plus - but it didn’t work. Having to go out at night to buy a new coffee maker was a minus - but getting reimbursed by our host was a plus. Overall our stay in St Joe Beach was good. This was our first VRBO stay. No negative reflection on our host, but we will not rent through VRBO again. VRBO has too many additional charges! For our next stay, we will work directly with a local property manager/owner.

Long overdue vaca

Planned this vacation for a very long time and of course my phone died right before I got the code. I couldn’t get it to charge back up. I used my sister’s phone to contact VRBO. They contacted the owner and got the code for me. No problems.. She was very nice…made feel comfortable. The neighborhood is super nice, my sister and I commented on how we feel safe here. There was a dog park we took our dogs to, and we went to the local beaches. A hurricane was coming, so I had to cut my vacation a little short, but all in all it was a perfect stay. I would totally recommend this apartment and renting from this owner. She was very understanding, and very sweet.

Port St Joe Vacation

The accommodations and communications with property manager were good. Our stay was great until the day before checkout, I received a text message informing me that checkout was at 10 and guest were scheduled to checkin. This was cleared up and staying that night was good. We returned to the property after a long day and laid down. At close to 11:00 pm we heard loud banging on the wall from the adjoining unit. This woke us up to fear that someone was coming in, then at our entry door we heard police open the door. We open the door only to find that the occupants in the adjoining property called the cops and said they heard someone and said they understood that they rented the place entirely. This was untrue, the occupants asked us earlier in the day to move our car over to give them more space due to having two vehicles. They saw us coming in and out throughout the day. This was a sad note to end our vacation. I hope in the future that both sides will be well informed about occupants on both sides. Thank you

Family stay with dogs

We enjoyed our time at this community! Pros: -nice neighborhood with short walk to the beach and a small town center -the unit is new and everything was very clean -spacious 1 bedroom for our family and 2 dogs -the manager is extremely quick to respond and helped us with anything we needed Cons: -this is an apt adjacent to the main house and we had a few minor issues with the other renters which were resolved after the first day -there is a outdoor cat living in the garage so just be aware if your dog would have an issue with that
