"We had a comfortable stay at this beautiful home on Bandon Beach. The host had many nice touches for dog lovers, like separate sheets to cover furniture from sandy paws and an outdoor wash off station with towels for use when coming in from the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed except tongs (smaller than the grill sized ones). The only flaw was a lack of dressers to put clothes. After a long road trip, the last thing I felt like doing is living out of a suitcase, but there was no place...

"Fantastically convenient location with only 2 miles from the Gold Beach/ 101 highway. But it feels like a real country : no noise, beautiful green pastures/ hills with handsome horses grazing... just a perfect place for a quiet retreat while visiting the South Oregon Coast with easy access to the North California coast as well. A real, unique gem of a place to stay in the Gold Beach area !"

"The house is in a great spot. Things were clean. The bed in the main bedroom is quite worn out and saggy, the washing machine didn’t work and the ramp down needs some grip tape put on it. My girlfriend slipped and fell really bad. She wasn’t seriously injured but was bruised and sore the rest of the trip. I informed the property manager about the washing machine and only got a generic response from Vacasa."

"We had the most amazing trip to the southern coast of Oregon. Gary was a wonderful host and we loved staying at his beautiful home - absolutely spectacular views from the floor to ceiling windows. Port Orford is an unspoiled gem. Easy access to beautiful beaches, hiking, golf and other adventures. We loved the Rogue River jet boat tour. Highly recommend this stunning VRBO."

"It was good. We had a problem with the tv intermittently not working and someone was a able to get it working remotely. Many of the kitchen utensils, pots and pans are completely worn out and need to be replaced."

"We really liked this house. It was spacious. The layout was different and fun. All our needs were met. The area is super windy: not the owner’s fault, and we were warned by the name. Would probably have stayed at a more protected place, but we enjoyed it anyway."

Agate hunting, tidepool viewing, and salmon fishing were our outdoor activities, and then back inside the well-appointed kitchen and spacious dining family room were perfect. Then into the movie room with the popcorn maker and reclining seats. Finally, off to bed in spacious and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Thank you for creating such a wonderful home!"

"Very clean property and great layout for family gathering. We enjoyed our stay and experienced a true Oregon beach vacation, with sun, surf, sand and storms all regularly visiting us. Property is a quick walk to the beach (note there is not a lot of beach at high tides and bring your own beach towels from home). The location is peaceful and near many outdoor activities but the nearby town is very sparsely populated with food or things to see or do. Property management was very responsive....

"This house was just right for my family. Check-in was easy and the host, Aimee, was responsive to my questions. The home was fully equipped with everything we needed. The furniture was outdated, however, it was very comfortable. I enjoy having windows open as I like a breeze in the house, however, very few windows had screens on them. I would recommend this house, especially for groups."
