This home has undergone a remarkable renovation creating an unparalleled modern 5 bedroom home, in the heart of the Boca Grande town, w/the addition of a pool. The distance from the ocean is an easy 5 minute stroll, 3 minute bike ride. (.2miles). This home comes outfitted w/pool and beach towels, 6 beach chairs & one beach umbrella for your convenience. Deana and the Mama Dear house is an excellent option for staying in BG. Location is incredible along with the house. 5 stars all day.

We just returned from our third year at the Historic Mama Dear House, and it was just as magical as the first! The family home is meticulously furnished and stocked with all the amenities required for a wonderful family getaway. Owner, Deana, is responsive, helpful, and incredibly kind. Our vacation at the Mama Dear House was exceptional!

We visit the island every year, and this is one of the best homes we’ve stayed in. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and perfectly located—just a short block from downtown, making it easy to walk everywhere. The home is much more spacious than it appears in the photos and is thoughtfully designed with a great layout. One detail that really stood out was the comfort of the beds and pillows in every room, which is something we rarely find in vacation rentals. The owner reached out shortly after check-in and again during our stay to make sure everything was going well. That level of attentiveness was greatly appreciated and is not something we often experience. It’s clear she takes great pride in her home, and it shows in every detail.We highly recommend this property

Beautiful home in great location

My family stayed here for our kids' spring break and had an excellent time. The home is beautiful, very well and comfortably furnished, and in a great location. I had a couple of questions while there that the owner promptly answered, including by text message and phone call. Highly recommend staying here!

Wow! This home is an absolute gem on the island! We have had a home here for 30 years, but we needed extra space for overflow of family. It was so clean, so comfortable and SO perfect! It is located right downtown-across the street from Newlin’s (get the lobster roll!) and a short walk away from Hudson’s, the island grocery. Deana is very responsive and so helpful. We had a medical situation with a family member and not only was she helpful with resources, she was so kind and supportive! We are grateful for Deana and her beautiful home!!

Beautiful Boca Grande home!

Our family of six had a wonderful vacation at MamaDear House and Boca Grande. The home is absolutely beautiful, comfortable and close to everything…the beach, shops and restaurants! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and cooking meals in the well-appointed kitchen. Highly recommend this property and we hope to be back!

Boca Grande Vacation

Perfect location

We love this house. We have stayed here several times and it fits our family of 8 adults perfectly. The location is amazing… close to town and all the restaurants as well as the beach. We love the pool in the backyard as a place to relax and the house is fully stocked with all the cooking supplies you would need. We will definitely stay there again.

The best of Boca Grande

Beautiful, historic home updated to the most modern, high-end amenities. Charming layout and close to everything. With a golf cart (which is a must) the beach is even easier to access than the beach condos. Wonderful host.

It’s perfect

We have stayed all over on Boca and everywhere has a little something that makes it special. This property is no exception. It’s so beautifully done and has anything you would need, great location, close to everything, yet nice and quiet. A luxurious stay, extremely well kept and cared for. Would 100% be a repeat rental for us. Thanks Deana!

Simply Perfect

We have been coming to the Island since our children were small but hadn't been for a few years. We wanted a family reunion and could think of no better place and your beautiful house was the most perfect place for us all. It is exactly how you described it and more. We had the most amazing time eating outside, playing in the pool and walking to the beach. Just perfect, thank you x

A Wonderful House in so many ways

Our second year at Mama Dear and it was so much fun enjoying this special place with kids and grandkids. The house is so warm, welcoming, comfortable and well laid out! The pool was a big hit! And being only a short stroll from the beach and downtown, for us, it was the perfect location. We never used our car. Can't wait til next year! Thank you!

Very Nice House

We had a total of 10 people. 5 Adults and 5 kids ranging from 9 - 1. They layout of the house was great for all. Location is right in town so easy access to everything. The pool was great for the kids and the beach is a short golf cart ride away. The kitchen is very large and easy for multiple people to prepare/cook at one time. Boca Grande is a special place and full of memories for our family.

Boca Grande awesome family house

We were thrilled with the Mama Dear house. It is incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated and renovated. A large entry way opens up to a huge family room on your right and dining room on the left that leads to a kitchen with top of the line appliances, and china, utensils silver. Off the family room a sitting area and off dining room a bar and coffee station. And there is a pool. Finally the pool and location are the cherry on top.

Wonderful week in Boca Grande!

We really enjoyed our week long stay at the Mama Dear House! The house is perfectly situated in town and a stones throw away from the beach. The house is very homey and comfortable and had everything we needed. We particularly loved the big dining table off the kitchen and the little games nook where my kids loved to play scrabble and card games. The pool was a great way to cool off and we used the bbq with great success. The owner Deana was very communicative and helpful with all aspects of our visit. We look forward to coming again!
