"Great pub, exceptionally clean, comfortable and modern rooms and super friendly staff. As a bonus, the food is of a very high standard and the Guinness was decent. Can’t fault this place in any way, stopped here to be in the area for the snooker at the Crucible in Sheffield, it was a 20 minute taxi ride from here to Sheffield Town Centre. As Arnie said….. I’ll be back 😂"

"The Devonshire is perfectly located in the hills around Chesterfield. It is spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed rooms with comfy beds and super quiet with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Dining options in the pub restaurant were vast and the food delicious with a really friendly team. Final bonus - REAL MILK provided in the fridge for proper morning coffee. Cannot recommend enough. The breakfast was amazing and hot!
The room was clean and there was complimentary things in the bathroom which you never get!
The only snag was I could hear some sort of generator or air conditioning unit that didn’t go off/ quieter until midnight and I like it quiet when I sleep or I can’t sleep."

Nice bathroom modern looking just little bits like limescale on the shower door handle and a cover missing on the shower door and the shower head leaked not enough to cause a problem but water ended up pooling outside the shower...

"God oplevelse. Hotellet var meget fint. Værelset var fint efter min mening. Sengen var perfekt. Eneste problem var området. Det var svært at forlade hotellet på gåben, fordi det lå lige ved en rundkørsel. Der er ingen lyssignaler i nærheden. Det var rimelig problematisk at krydse vejene i myldretiden. The apartment we stopped in is definitely getting a little tired with a few repairs required however it has everything you want and nothing you don’t need. Would recommend for those transiting through Mansfield. The area (given I grew up there) is one of the better areas of Mansfield and the property is gated so nice and secure."

The staff were lovely, warm, friendly, very kind & obliging, the room had all the facilities you needed, was very clean, quiet and had fabulous views. The food in the restaurant was very good & offered a nice selection. The continental breakfast was perfect (muesli, granola, mixed berries, yoghurt etc - all my favourite things) & they even provided oatmilk. Above all that it was exceptional value, so we’ll definitely come again...

We stayed as a family of four and have stayed here before prior to its rebrand but it could do with a bit of TLC.
