"The hotel itself, location, size and quality of rooms was very good. The only area where I felt there was room for improvement was the very first impression of employees at reception responsible for checking us in. Whilst I appreciate people may have had a bad day I do not believe it should impact on customer experience. A very abrupt & unhelpful welcome to St Augustine. A stark contrast to our experience in both Savannah & Charleston. This aspect needs to improve."

"Absolutely loved the Edgewater Inn! With a superb location in walking distance from all the sights in St Augustine and a beautiful view of the river. Staff was nice and accomodating and the terrace perfect for morning coffee and a afternoon break. The place could do with an update, however very charming and would definately come back! "
