"If you want rustic and good hospitality, you've found it! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Mark was absolutely wonderful, he was very helpful in making sure we were comfortable and aware of activities they had to offer onsite, even welcomed our son in to play pool while we waited for food. I didn't get the chef's name but he was very friendly and all smiles. You're able to watch them cook and manage your food while they smile and hum along to their music, it gave off a very relaxed...

"This was a very interesting place as it was an old stage stop built back in the 1860s. However I had on a couple of occasions trouble entering the place as there was no staff around. The owner was very helpful but on vacation. He was able to get me to where I needed to be via phone. Would I stay again yes because of the historical parts of it."

"We enjoyed a comfortable night. Coming off cycling the Great Divide its always nice to have some comfort. The property was in a bit of disarray when i was there. I was arriving on 4th July and everything was shut and bolted. The property is under new mgmt due to extenuating personal circumstances. They are trying their best under the circumstances. But its obviously a challenge. Once all is running smoothly i would recommend staying a night. For now it is hard to recommend"

"In the description they don't tell you that it's a shared bathroom. There was only 1 person working the whole place, which also has a restaurant and bar. Not impressed at all."

"I don’t like to give a negative review, but this time I feel obliged to do it. This was not a great experience. Room was dirty. Bathroom still had half-used soap bars of previous guests. Floor wasn’t vacuumed in a long time. Bedding looked suspect. The pulled pork sandwiches were great though."
