Plum Island Lighthouse protects the delta of the Merrimack River, and was commissioned for the first time in 1788 with a lantern that burned whale oil. Its current form dates from the year 1898. In 1927 it began to work with electricity and was automated in 1952. As you can see the light it emits is green. The lighthouse's surroundings are always accessible and the structure itself is open some days a year. The hotel was nice and clean. The only bad thing was that they only had on functioning elevator in the front. We had to use the service elevators at times.

Great stay! Great place!
The whole floor was clean and organized. The whole floor also felt inviting and comforting. We enjoyed how close we where to everthing. We were both so happy with found this apartment.
