"Wonderful rustic summer cottage in the woods! One of the few really private wooded areas on PI and easy walking distance to town beaches. Reminds me of how the island used be decades ago -- nothing fancy but nicely appointed. A great collection of old books and travel guides. "

"The stay was great overall. When we entered the rental unit there was a lot of sand throughout, and the trash barrels were full and had not been taken to the curb (they had food items left in them so there were some maggots in the barrels, unfortunately). Aside from some trouble trying to fit our garbage into the barrel before the midweek pickup everything else was pretty smooth. Two things I would suggest is replacing the bug screen on the main sliding door, it’s a wonderful feature to have in...

"We stayed here in 2021 and it was awesome. Many improvements since then such as all new windows made it even better in 2025! It's a very short walk to the beach, and also close to the ice cream shop. "
