Die Kommunikation vorher und auch während dem Aufenthalt hat super geklappt. Rianne war stets sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und geräumig, die Betten sind riesig und bequem. Es hat alles,was man braucht. Die Stühle und Sonnenschirm für den Strand waren sehr praktisch. Die Wohnung ist super gelegen,man kann gut zu Fuss einkaufen, in die 5th Avenue und zum Strand. Ausserdem ist die Wohnung ruhig gelegen.Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Playa Fun!

Our stay was terrific and our contact with Rianne was excellent. She always answered our messages in a timely manner and she was extremely kind, prompt, and accommodating. The Meridian is perfectly located in Playa, being at the one end of 5th ave., with walking the entire length a good walk, 2.5 km. Fifth ave was great for strolling, stopping for a beverage, food, and any shopping we might have wanted to do. Grocery stores were within walking distance and very handy for cooking at the condo. The condo was perfectly well set up, and we did not need anything. Having 2 large bedrooms, each with their own ensuite, plus an extra bathroom, made the space ideal. Having laundry in suite was very handy. I would stay at the The Meridian again. The people we met at the pool were all wonderful, and offered more places to spend time at. The beaches, were also within walking distance and great to spend the day at. I'd recommend The Meridian!!

Good location to restaurants downtown

There was a double booking situation, but the host took care of it and made it right for us! She had great communication and was helpful with suggestions on the area. She even had a bottle of wine and chocolates for us, as we were there for our wedding (thank you!). Only down side was the water in the shower never got warm.

Fantastic Holiday!

This apartment is even better than the description! Comfortable, spacious, and has everything you need for a great beach vacation! The location is perfect, less than 5 minute walk from the beach, 5th Ave, and grocery stores close by. The building is quiet and very secure. Rianne is an incredible host and made us feel right at home, suggested great local restaurants, and was always available if we needed anything. I really hope to book this apartment again! Thank you so much Rianne!

Location, Location & Location is what this condo is all about. Rianne & Diego handled all our problems during our stay. Photo listings must have been taken a long time ago. Couches very uncomfortable and condo is rustic

An oasis of calm on the edge of all the action

Positioned between a very busy part of the beach area and 5 Avenue, this condo is the perfect place for a longer visit to Play Del Carmen. Situated on the ground floor of an older building. The condo has everything you need. The pool on the roof is a beautiful quiet area to sunbath, lounge in the pool or snooze. Condo owner is very attentive and quick to respond and has wonderful recommendations for the first time visitor. We had a wonderful two week stay here and look forward to coming back.

Best getaway yet!

I’ve been to Cancun and Playa Del Carmen many times. Although this is an older building, it has everything that you need. The service that we received was outstanding. Spotlessly clean. You’ll know when you walk around in your bare feet and you go to bed and your feet are still clean. Rianna is by far the best landlord I have ever dealt with in Mexico. Very friendly and is willing to help at any time. This is my third time staying here and rate it a 10/10. Two minute walk to 5th Avenue and a 7 minute walk to Chedraui grocery store on 10th Ave. Very convenient. 24 hour security and no one can access premises unless your a tenant or owner. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and fine dining. Perfect for a young family or singles. Love the quite sunny pool up on the roof top. No elevators in the building so be prepared to walk up 4 floors to the pool. I would highly recommend this property for my age group. I will be definitely staying here again in the near future. Thank you so much Rianna for everything that you have provided. May God bless you and your family.

Great location-needs a tuneup

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Great communication with the owner. Excellent location-a few blocks one way, you are at the beach. A couple of blocks the other direction you are on 5th ave. We felt very safe at this location. Having a washer and dryer is a plus. The furniture needs to be replaced. Stains on the couch, both couches are worn out. We notice some of the kitchen ware was not clean, and there were stains on the wall in the bathroom. Sliding shower door should be replaced. There are many choices in this area. I hope the owner will make the necessary upgrades, improve on the cleaning of the condo, and kitchen ware.

First time in Mexico and it was a wonderful experience.

Very good location located between the beach and Fifth Ave. Like many popular vacations spots it is starting to become too overbuilt and noisey though and I am afraid in a couple more years it might be too commercialized for extended stays. My host Rianne though was one of the best hosts that I have ever had.

Great place! Amazing host!

We loved staying in Rianne’s place! The location was so cool; steps to the beach and delicious restaurants and fun shopping. It was great that her place was not on the main strip, so our stay was quiet and very relaxing. The apartment was spacious and so clean; so many bathrooms! The beds were wonderful! The rooftop pool was fantastic; beautiful views and so luxurious. Rianne couldn’t have been a more gracious host! She even brought balloons and treats for my husband’s birthday! She is the coolest! We loved our stay here and would highly recommend this place to anyone! 😊😊😊

Fabulous Host and Location!

We spent 4 nights in one of Rianne's apartments. She is a very special host and person! Lots of information and wonderful warmth and humour. The location is 2 blocks from the north end of 5th Ave. In two minutes you are heading off to all the festivities of Playa. It's a 4 minute walk in the other direction to the beach. Rianne provides towels, chairs and just about everything else you will need including large vessels of drinking water. Two king beds ... a bit low but comfortable enough. 24 hour security made us feel very safe. The pool was right up our alley. Absolutely the right temp and a terrific addition to out stay. Just a great place from which to enjoy Playa! HIGHLY recommended!

Great Location !

Everything was great, from our arrival Rainne was there waiting for us to greet us.She showed us the place and was very friendly . The condo was perfect, the rooms were big and beds comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the AC. unit worked great. We were walking distance from beach and La Quinta Avenida. The grocery stores were only like a 15 minute walk very close, that really helped since I have a son that is a very picky eater. Being able to walk to the grocery store was great . Very safe area to walk around. Thanks and look forward to coming back soon.

Ideal host, ideal location, ideal condo

I just returned from my trip to Playa and was so impressed. I traveled with my husband an 2 kids aged 9 and 11. The condo was a perfect fit for us. It was clean and well stocked with the items we needed including kitchen ware, drinking water, towels, beach chairs, umbrella, laundry, etc, etc. We were a block from Fifth Ave on one side and a block from the beach on the other. The kids have food allergies so we had to shop for groceries and do our own cooking. It was easy at Rianne's condo since there were grocery stores in walking distance and everything we needed for food prep. We had questions a couple of times and Rianne was available within minutes. We found the accommodations and neighborhood exceptionally safe with friendly and helpful security at the entrances. I will definitely stay again.

Great vacation in playa

Thanks Rianne for such a wonderful time. We spend two days in playa del carmen and really enjoyed the local flare. It was so close to 5th ave. just like it was described. Rianne greeted us at the apartment and gave us lots of advice on where to eat and drink. She even set up two taxis for us so we could get to our next destination. Definitely above and beyond.

Rianne was an amazing host, she helped us out with everything we needed. The spot was very well placed, right between the 5th avenue and the beach but away from the nocturnal hype. Nice, enjoyable stay!

Very close to 5th and the beach, short taxi ride to Playacar and Hard Rock golf course. Lots of eateries close by. Beds: Firm yet comfortable. Small safe for valuables/passports/cash. Groceries? We were able to walk to the local Walmart then take a taxi back for around $7 US. There are not many english language choices on TV here but the high speed internet was good. Took an Ipad with Netflix and purchased a Goolge Chromecast at a local Radioshack ($40 US) to watch Netflix at night. Worked well. Rianne is going to look into a DVD player with Netflix capabilities so if you stay here you might ask her about that :) Another thing technology related: We have Ooma telo at home. Their mobile app and wifi allows us to call anyone back home in the states at no charge and was very nice to have while we were away from home to check in with loved ones. You also might be interested to know that facetime & Imessage also work fine for those connecting to to others Iphone to Iphone. Kitchen is pretty much fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, gas stove, bottled water. For those looking to enjoy milk on the trip, I would recommend Forti Leche. We drink 2% milk and we could NOT tell the difference. The weird part? It is stored at room temp until opened and then placed in the refrigerator. Check the exp date. Ours stated it was good for another 2 months! If you want meat on your stay, I would highly recommend translating turkey, chicken (pollo) and any other item you are looking for from english (or any other language) to spanish (many apps out there) so that you can understand what you are buying before you go.

Great location, clean, and great service from owner

Fantastic location, close to public beach (2 blocks) and a nice stretch of Avenida 5. Nice selection of restaurants and bars close by. Very nice rooftop pool. Beautiful courtyard area. Rianne was very responsive to our requests and flexible with our departure time. Dedicated parking space. Villa was clean, quiet, and met our needs. The dryer was noisy but Rianne said it would be replaced soon. Some might prefer a higher floor but I liked the convenience of the first floor.
