Welcome to this amazing, two-bedroom cabin on Lake Champlain. Wake up to views of Cumberland Bay, or, linger in bed listening to the water lapping on the shore outside your window. Tramonto Cottage is directly at the water line with a hot tub, 4 levels of balconies including the incredible rooftop deck with its geodesic dome. Relax after a hard day of fun and adventuring by slipping into the hot tub. If you are looking for more, Plattsburgh is a short 10 min drive and the ferry to Vermont 5min.



The Space:

Welcome to this charming lakefront cottage, designed with families in mind. The first floor features an inviting living area, a full bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. The dining table is a highlight, easily converting into a ping pong or pool table for family fun. A motorized ceiling mount allows the TV to rotate, ensuring great views from both the kitchen and living spaces. Upstairs, the master bedroom offers a king bed and a dedicated workspace, while the second bedroom includes a queen bed and an additional desk. Outside, you will find three balconies. The lower balcony features comfortable patio furniture, while the second balcony is home to a six-person hot tub, a BBQ grill, and an outdoor dining set under a covered roof, perfect for rainy days. The third balcony provides access to a spectacular rooftop deck, complete with a geodesic dome, cozy seating, WiFi, and electricity, making it an ideal spot to relax day or night.

Nestled at the end of a tranquil street, our home offers a safe and quiet retreat for families looking to relax. The property is ideally situated on the water, giving you easy access to swimming, fishing, and scenic lake vistas. You will find it incredibly convenient to have the Cumberland Bay market within a short five minute walk, making it easy to pick up any forgotten items or enjoy some of their delicious fresh baked goods during your stay. The peanut butter cookies are so addictive!



We are also located just 3 min drive from one of the largest sandy fresh water beaches in North America, the Plattsburgh city beach. On calm days you could easily paddle over to the beach as well.



Getting Around:

A car is required to get around the city and surrounding area, though bicycles are also widely used in the area.
