"There were minor cleaning issues in the bathroom, and my only/biggest complaint is the listing is misleading as it says you have no neighbors but the space is physically attached to a larger house and the driveway and entry/exit doors for both units open into the same small space. Additionally the front door has a large glass window with no curtains so you have absolutely no privacy. This is a direct conflict with the listing and I did bring this up to the landlord. That being said the location...

"Having fresh towels ready along with an in-room microwave really helped snacking late at night be more convenient"

"Appreciated that the TV remote actually had batteries, which made watching easier. The WiFi was decent, not super fast but fine for basic browsing. Compared to other motels near the highway, this one felt quieter."

"We really enjoyed our stay and the check-in/out process was easy. The location, decor, and parking were great. We were very grateful there wasn’t a list of cleaning or chores to do before we left. I don’t know if this is the best property for elderly people. The stairs are hard to navigate and don’t have a bannister all the way up, the rugs and thresholds between rooms are tripping hazards, the floors slant, and the level of the bottom of the tub is lower than then floor. These are all things...

"I had wondered about the amenities. the coffee pot was not cleaned , actually had mold in it , and the carpet was lifting at one corner, where i kept tripping on it. I certainly appreciated the rest ! As it was during the turkey holiday and easy to find through downtown Hartford "

"Once we found the house it was very warm & cozy. The mini- muffins on the counter was a bonus. House mailbox was 87 but address was 89 that you only see if door is closed which it wasn't on 1st 2 passes. Limited exterior lights made coming back at night a challenge. "

"My unit was exactly as described. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return again. "

"Quick stop, quiet room near the highway."

"This is a beautiful place to stay and Carol was an excellent host, very communicative and welcoming."

"Nice place"

"This property was very clean and comfortable; a nicely remodeled apartment in an older home. We had family members staying in one of the other apartments, so it was great to have them so close, but still had privacy. The location is conveniently located with plenty of restaurants nearby, and a short drive to fowntown dining and shops. Karl was an excellent host, griendly and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Great place downtown Hartford! Clean and quiet and minutes from everything! My only issue was that it claims to be fully furnished but there is no iron or steamer. Guests are often traveling in for events so having that on hand is essential. Other than that all was wonderful!"

"Felt like coming home. Moved out of state 20 yrs ago. "

"I discovered fleas or some type of small, flying insects in and on the bed linens after feeling itchy when I tried to fall asleep. Since I couldn’t sleep with bugs, my friend and I had to pack up very late in the evening and go elsewhere. The hosts came to the apartment before we left and tried first to say we must have opened a window and let in the bugs. Then they said it was just nature. We said sorry, but we can’t sleep with bugs. The host issued only a partial refund. This was a total...

"Heating worked effectively, along with easy-to-use TV controls that left me satisfied throughout my visit here."

"I didn’t realize there’s no cable/smart tv"

"Needed a decent sleep before driving next day and got it without trouble. The free WiFi worked well for some last-minute planning too. Nothing fancy but did just what I needed."
