Staff was courteous but we had an awful time during our staff due to a rowdy group of youngsters who were up running around all night until 2 am. The hotel thought it was a good idea to put all these kids on the FIFTH floor so that they completely disturbed everyone’s sleep on the 4th floor. It was outrageous…the floors/ceilings/walls etc are very very thin in this hotel so the noise and commotion was felt and heard throughout the hotel.
We called down to the front desk at least three times. Meghan, the night auditor was very sweet and tried to help but apparently she can’t leave the front desk. She apparently called the night watchman to go up and calm things down but nothing changed.
The worst room was right above us in room 511. The boys (three of them…we saw them) literally sounded like they were jumping off the beds and landing on the floor. Until 2 am
I finally went upstairs myself. Saw kids running up and down the hallway with the chaperones just sitting there. I told the adults how outrageous the situation was but their response was “go back to bed..leave us alone”. Unreal
This school or church or team should be banned from Hyatt hotels forever
I am SO disappointed with Hyatt management for allowing this. What is the protocol for dealing with a situation like this? Why were these kids put on a top floor so that everyone could hear them? Why did the noise continue?
We literally did not sleep all night. Really angry
