Nice Stay Overall Good Location and Friendly Staff
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were very welcoming and kind, which made check-in smooth and friendly. I appreciated how quiet the hotel was, even though the guest across from me occasionally slammed their door in the evening, the AC helped drown out the noise, which was great for my 5-year-old. The room was a decent size and clean. The bed and pillows were comfy, which made for a good night’s sleep. My daughter really enjoyed the pool, although the floor was extremely slippery, so just a heads-up if you're traveling with kids. The pool area looked a bit dated, but it was fine my daughter didn’t mind. The water was freezing, though, which was a bit disappointing because I thought the pool was heated. (the room is, not the pool)
Breakfast was a good! We especially loved the waffles in the morning; my daughter was thrilled. Another big plus was the location; it was super close to the Pittsburgh Zoo, which made for a fun outing.
Overall, I’d consider staying here again. It’s a solid option for families looking for a convenient and quiet place to stay.
