"Amazing house in paradise, the entire accommodation was super comfortable and with all necessary equipment to make you feel at home , the kitchen is fully equipped and even has washing machine if you need to wask some clothing,everything is in full conditions Simple but with love this house will not disappoint you. The views from the living room and from the lovely balcony are a must. And the team ,specially the receptionist ,went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible !...

"Jolie petite maison à proximité du centre ville d'Horta. Idéal pour profiter d'Horta et pour rayonner sur Faial. La maison a du cachet, mais est de taille modeste. Nous étions 4 dont 2 enfants (8 et 10), et on aurait pu se sentir à l'étroit si la météo nous avait obligés à rester à l'intérieur. Pas de problème par contre pour les couchages, même si l'escalier d'accès est pentu. A noter le passage très étroit pour accéder en voiture à la maison, mais ça passe! "Wonderful cozy house with a fully equipped kitchen. The food supplied on our arrival was unexpected and appreciated as we arrived later than expected. Quiet, friendly community right near the ocean with trails within walking distance of the home. "

"The place is really lovely and very clean. There is a great view of Pico, and we loved looking out at the lights of Pico from the porch at night. Rita was very responsive to any issues we had. The wifi was really weak, even after Rita provided a new router. Visitors should download tv shows or movies in advance if they want to watch anything during their stay. We loved coming home to this house at the end of the day!!!"

"Our hosts Fatima and George were the best hosts we have ever had in many VRBO experiences. There was a fresh baked cake, basket of cheese, basket of fruit, basket of bread/biscuits and a bottle of wine waiting on the dining room table when we arrived. The patio off of the house was a fantastic private setting for evening wine and cheese. The old basalt cottage was impeccable, it looked brand new as if we were the first to occupy!"

Das inkludierte kontinentale Frühstück wartet bereits im Kühlschrank in Form von meist regionalen Produkten und einer selbst gemachten Marmelade von seiner Frau. Das Haus ist sauber und gemütlich. "La maison est très bien placée pour visiter l'île. Proximité de la mer ( énormes vagues qu'on regarderait pendant des heures ) et vue sur le Pico que nous avons aussi pu faire jusqu'au sommet dans d'excellentes conditions. Marco est très réactif. Nous avons pu rencontrer Jason qui est de très bons conseils pour les visites. Le seul bémol pour nous est que les espaces nuit ne soient pas fermés. Il n'y a pas vraiment de chambres. "A fajã da Caldeira de Santo Cristo é um dos lugares de visita obrigatório em S. Jorge. Embora não tenha acesso de carro, existem dois trilhos que permitem o acesso ao lugar. Fizemos o trilho mais pequeno e demorámos aproximadamente 1 hora (levávamos crianças connosco). Alternativamente, este trilho pode ser feito com moto4. Vários habitantes locais fornecem esse serviço aos turistas para facilitar a entrada e saída da fajã. O nosso anfitrião (o Miguel), também se disponiblizou para nos facilitar...

Das beste an unserem Aufenthalt aber waren unsere Gastgeber Fatima und Helio Soares. Wunderbare Menschen, die sich um alles kümmern, uns mit allem versorgt haben, was man sich nur wünschen kann.
