The property was nice and clean, which was most important for us. There were a few areas, like the hallways and elevator, that felt a bit worn (chipped tiles in the elevator and some fraying/snags in the hallway), but the rooms themselves were nice.
The room key and/or door was a little tricky and didn’t always work on the first try—we often had to scan several times to get in. The TV remote worked, but the guide did not, and there was no option to connect to Netflix or other streaming accounts, so we found ourselves flipping through channels like it was the 90s. The hotel did provide shampoo and body wash, but the conditioner was either empty or the dispenser wasn’t working.
Breakfast was okay—fairly basic. One day included eggs, sausage, waffles, and potatoes; another day had eggs, bacon, waffles, and quiche. Both days also offered standard items like bagels, muffins, toast, cereal, fruit (oranges, apples, and bananas), oatmeal, coffee, tea, and milk. They may have had yogurt as well, but I’m not certain. It was a bit surprising that there was no juice available at all.
The front desk staff were wonderful—very kind and friendly. Unfortunately, the breakfast staff had a very different demeanor. Interactions felt abrupt and somewhat rude, and they seemed annoyed while doing their job, which impacted the experience.
Housekeeping was inconsistent—towels refreshed and bed straightened, but sheets weren’t changed and the foldout bed was left messy, which was unusual.
