Fittingly, the property is surrounded by ferns in the dells and glens, and borders 63 acres of conservation land.
Guests are invited to stroll the shoreline path or explore the whimsical “Dragon Spine” trail, where young hikers can imagine tiptoeing along a dragon’s back. This peaceful, private setting encourages a slower pace, with plenty of space inside and out for families to relax, reconnect, and escape the whirlwind of daily life. Though remote in feel, Ferndale House is just a 15-minute drive from Bath, a charming coastal city with restaurants, shops, and essentials.

There is no water access at the property. Swimming and boating are not permitted from this location. No dogs are allowed at this property. A vehicle is needed to access the home and surrounding areas; Uber does not operate in the area.

Upstairs Bedrooms: One bedroom with a queen bed; the other bedroom has two twin beds.
Bathroom (Upstairs): Full bath with a walk-in shower.

Three steps lead to the entrance. The main floor (bedroom and bathroom) is step-free. Stairs are required to access the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom.
