Our dogs loved the woods and playing on the river!The owner was so nice, easy to communicate with and gave excellent tips to make our stay even more memorable. "Two of my friends and I stayed at this wonderful vacation spot. Beautiful views of the water. Spacious for the three of us. We enjoyed sitting outside either on the swings or in the Adirondack chairs on the pier. Even when it was chilly, we could enjoy the view from inside sitting at the dining room table, in the den and even from the kitchen. Comfortable beds and clean house. Would definitely return!"

"Rental had not been cleaned since the last tenant which was a week prior to my rental dates. Immediately upon entering the home I was meet with a stench and stiiffling heat of 84 degrees from the lack AC. The heat had been on since the last tenant. Upon inspection dishes were left in the sink, dish soap bottle empty, used sponge, laundry in the washer, bed were made by the last tenant but clearly slept in, floors here covered in grit a combination of sand and food from a child, a binkie under a...

"The cottage was in the perfect location for our visit to Yorktown. Once there we really didn't have to drive much. It is easy to walk down to the water, to the battlefield and the American Revolution Museum. We walked to restaurants and shops. The trolley that does a loop has a stop directly across from the cottage. The cottage had nice places to sit outside, plenty of room in the living area.
