"Very cute little place to stay at. Didn’t have extra toilet paper. No big deal we just went across the street to the gas station to get some."

"The house was very comfortable overall, and the main bed in particular was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked with enough essentials for us to prepare our meals without any issues. The only area that did not meet the same standard as the rest of the home was the bathroom. "It was great and the host was very responsive. We will be back!"

"Amazing property, especially the outdoor space."

"This property is beautiful. The lake is very nice, having kayaks for use was a huge plus. The two houses made it nice to spread out for some quiet. Very clean and well stocked. Amazing views. Our only critique would be that 2 of the listed bedrooms are not really bedrooms. But we made due with a smaller group than we originally planned so no complaints from us."

"Perfect home for our large family who wanted to explore the Keweenaw Peninsula. We had a great time rock hunting and adventuring. David, our host was very quick to address one minor issue we had. We had a great time."

"The property was fantastic—spotlessly clean, easy to access, and clearly a newer build. The appliances and amenities all felt fresh and well‑maintained. The neighborhood was quiet, and the home itself offered a nice sense of seclusion. It was only a short drive to Houghton, which made it especially convenient. If we return to the area, we would absolutely stay here again."

"Overall 10/10 experience. Will definitely stay here again!"

"This property was amazing! So comfy and it felt like home. I love that is pet friendly and has a kitchen and laundry. We will be back!"

"This is our second time staying here while our son went to summer camp at MTU. Clean, easy, and has all the things you need plus those little extras to make your stay even more comfortable."

"Perfect house to stay while visiting family. Only issue was dryer not working."

"Great place for a large group or family"

"We enjoyed our stay on Portage Canal. Quite a beautiful view. The house worked great for our visit!"
