Startet with beeing put into what i call a b-level dark room for breakfast typical fastservice, no glasses, no light, cold and unvelcomming (7 days) where red level (to whom we shouldnt be compared as good paying guest) could sit and enjoy the garden, the light, the pool area. We were not informed about status on using the second giant pool area, npt the rooftop...

"Ein top modernes, tolles Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern und der Möglichkeit, sich ein Zimmer mit Sonnenterasse und Blick über Barcelona zu buchen. Das Bett und die Bettwäsche sind traumhaft, die Zimmerreinigung kommt immer erst, wenn man den Raum verlässt und die Minibar hat Platz für ein paar eigenen Getränke und Snacks. Es wird sogar ein Roomservice und einige Speisen zum Kauf angeboten. Hat alles toll geklappt auf einem Sonntag, wo die Supermärkte zum größten Teil geschlossen haben....

"Great stay for a short visit in Barcelona, would probably want to stay closer to the Gothic Quarter if I went back. They also didn’t have breakfast available, I think they had Reno’s so not convenient. But the room was lovely and the staff was kind. "

"Clean, spaceous hotel, nice staff, a bit cold in restaurant/lounge (it was very windy outside when we bedre here in March) but fine with an extra sweater on - heater kept our room nice and warm. The Level was worth every dime! Luxurious breakfast buffet and lots of drinks and snacks/tapas throughout the day at the lounge. Safe neighbourhood, large nicer shoppingcentre nearby. Although not in the city centre, the hotel is very close to a lot of things. I would stay at the Melia again."

When I mentioned this to the reception the next morning, they responded with incredible professionalism and kindness – I was immediately upgraded to a suite as compensation.
The suite was a dream. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had extra amenities that made my stay even more luxurious. The view from the suite was absolutely stunning, and I truly felt valued as a guest.
The hotel’s facilities are generally world-class, and I particularly enjoyed their spa, which is incredibly beautiful and modern – a true oasis of relaxation. However, it’s worth noting that access to the spa costs €35 per person per day, even for hotel guests. This came as a surprise, especially considering the high price of the stay. I had expected this luxury to be included. It would be fantastic if the spa became complimentary for guests or priced more reasonably – this would definitely enhance the overall value of the stay.
A special thank you goes to the staff, who made my stay extraordinary. They were amazing – always helpful and attentive. I’d like to send a big thank you to Javier and Florencia, who truly made a difference with their kindness and dedication. They made me feel like a valued guest from start to finish."
