"Bharat and Ann are welcoming and attentive hosts. The property was very clean and well-decorated, with excellent views over the countryside from the guest lounge. It was about a 20 minute walk into town - though a steep hill coming back. I would definitely recommend."

"What a welcome to the punch house. We arrived and they knew we was staying. Offered a drink before check in and a love service from the staff there. The food smelt amazing as soon as you walk through the door. Shown to our rooms and it was perfect. Not too big and not too small. Bathroom with shower was clean and hot. Perfect size beds which was very comfortable. Will be heading back soon to try out the food. "

"Fantastisk service! Selvom vi ankom knap to timer efter de egentlig var stoppet med at servere scones fik vi the og scones i biblioteket. Vi fik præcis det værelse jeg havde bedt om - og et håndskrevet velkomstkort. Slotshaven er eventyrlig. Middagen i restauranten var perfekt. Hvis du leder efter en romantisk overnatning i den engelske 'countryside' så fås det ikke bedre end Thornbury Castle!"

"Lovely accommodation, clean, modern, pretty and spacious garden, safe off road parking. 3 very comfy bedrooms, nice living room with dining table. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher as well as utility room with washing machine. The road is a bit noisy with very fast traveling, but we soon got used to this. It wouldn't put us off staying here again. The location of cottage is close to many lovely attractions including Forest of Dean, Clearwell Caves and Puzzle Wood."

"I've stayed in quite a few Premier Inns and Travelodges this year, and a few independent hotels, but my room at Tŷ Magor beat all of them. My room was comfortable and fresh and spotlessly clean (the glass and polished metal gleaming!). The bed was comfortable (there was a sofa bed too), the pillows generous. The bara brith biscuits were yummy and the coffee bags were good. Best of all, the air conditioning was pretty much silent, but still effective. I slept well. Reception staff were...
