## Emplacement
Indistinguishable from the famous Marais district, which also covers most of the 4th arrondissement and is the quietest part of it, the 3rd arrondissement is one of the most pleasant places to live in Paris, as long as you like peace and quiet. A "sophisticated village", the 3rd arrondissement contains several open-air markets, a huge covered flower market and numerous specialized food stores, notably along Rue de Bretagne.
