Service was terrible. When we walked in the guy on reception ignored us initially. It says on the website that check in was at 2:30 but we could leave luggage with them in a locked area. We got there early but there was no room in the cupboard for our luggage so he just kept our bags by the front desk which naturally worried us when we left the hotel to explore Paris.
When we returned all was okay with our bags and we got our room key. We stayed on the first floor and the room was pretty clean and sizeable enough so no complaints there.
However, the noise from the street was terrible, the walls are paper thin to the point where you can hear people talking outside. The noise did wake us up multiple times in the night. Also, the actual room has a blackout curtain which blocked the light, but the en-suite bathroom (directly facing the bed) had a window which let all the streetlight in from the street. Even with the door closed it shone through the outer cracks of the door frame so it made it really difficult to sleep with the light as well as the noise.
When we got up in the morning to shower, the hot water wasn’t really hot, but luke warm which wasn’t overly pleasant and the air-con/ heating was broken in our room.
Overall, the location is good, just opposite the Dupleix metro station and about a 20 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower but honestly was a bad experience from the service and the room. I’d rather stay down the street in another hotel if we were to go again.
